why not invite all the ex employees of los padrinos...they can zero in on the cause of the large increase in graffiti throughout the city......

Santos Pineda (formerly one of the leaders of Los Padrinos) was just hired. Graffiti is down in SB. Clean-up is quick and professional. Much better than it was under Los Padrinos. Thank councilman Kelley for fighting for a better model instead of giving a half a million dollars a year to Los Padrinos.....where did all the money go? Padrinos had only three paid guys and a bunch of court workers..... Someone should have investigated that scam.

Now we have professional workers and things are getting done. Its a shame Penman decided to go after his buddy Chas' idea to get rid of Padrinos.

Well I hope these efforts are coming to the North Park area of San Bernardino because graffiti is NOT down in this area.
It will of course go down once school starts;has anyone realized the co-relation? Seasonal? perhaps..boredom....SIGH

Thanks to Chas Kelley the city is paying DOUBLE what it was for graffiti removal and it isn't what they sold at the council meetings. Where is the paint matching? I still see the same type of paint-overs that Los Padrinos was doing and Los Padrinos was working on rehabilitating at-risk kids.

The graffiti isn't any better, and the task force is closing tickets without doing the work.

i like the fact that the graffiti task force will paint over a whole area while cleaning up graffiti...but is ridiculous to include the whole surface area they painted in the calculations for square footage of graffiti covered over...it looks good on their stats....but isnt fooling anyone but themselves.....a 3ft x 5 ft tag on a 20x 20 wall....is 25ft of tagging....not 400ft...get it right.....thanks...Redlands... .

Anybody who says the current graffiti force is doing a better job than before is simply wrong. It's gotten a lot worse. They're a lot slower to respond.

There's Really Nothing Anyone Could Do To Stop These Vandals. There's Just No Hope For San Bernardino Anymore. Good Luck With Stopping These "Vandals".
