Anyone that comes on here and condones the behavior that was exhibited at that game should be ashamed of themselves. This goes back to the coaches allowing this type of behavior game after game. This was a school function and the child should be punished for his behavior. The coach should be reprimanded for allowing it and not taking control of his team. You win with dignity and lose with dignity, not by flipping off fans. This has gone on long enough. It would serve everyone involved to have the school fined for such behavior.

Well, what gives me the idea that they are not ashamed is that the one who shot the bird posted th picture from the Blountstown paper and said he is "famous in Blountstown"! The boys display was in front of the fans, it should be proper to tell the same fans what punishment was received!!! And YES, the fines from FHSAA are real!!!!

I can tell you without a doubt that our boys coach up here will set them on the bench if they start the attitude. Win or lose. Best player or worst. and thats good. I'd rather lose a game than lose a young man.

I can assure these things are everywhere in every sport. Many things are not detected, but nevertheless, it's there. That doesn't make it right. But I have called many games where I see the attitude of the player change during the game when the fans change. When the fans get an attitude and display poor judgement then the players do as well. Also, it's my experience that it also starts in the home. Not saying that these students are raised badly, but, most of the time this will not be the first time unsportsmanship type conduct is observed. But it bothers me that some people will talk bad and a high school student thats a teenager. If the opposite had happened, and they should no care at all, then some of you would be fussing about the lack of motivation and care and that it didnt bother them to be getting beat. A football palyer told me the other day that they didn't wont to lose but would be glad when it's over because they were tired and their body was beat up. I know Bonifay has been beat up all year. Not proud to see the conduct but proud to see a little backbone, even though I know that were probably tired. Remember this isn't college and they are not getting paid the big bucks here.

I would also agree. As I said, the parents and fans also need to learn some of the same lessons. It's not all fans just like its not all players. I would say Wildcat you do have a boys coach that would lay the law down. Not too sure about your girls coach.

Thank you official. No, our girls coach is one of the bigger jerks around here. But Lassiter is a class act kind of like Tim Alford. Brad Hall at Poplar is a good discipline coach too.

Until Bonifay realizes that good ole homeboys don't make the best coaches they will not win. I have no problem with the johnson guy, I'm sure he's a fine teacher, but football coach-not. Dixon has a chance now to show how much he cares about our schools and to teach our kids that friends are good but sometimes you have to do what's right, which is not always helping out your buddies, do something good for the kids who work hard all year round and show them that you want them to win and hire some real coaches. And that Boyd guy-oh please.

i see that vernon went out and got them a proven football coach. they will wipe bonifay and chipley both because chipley likes home boys too, Bad brad and whats his name over at chipley both are teachers, not football coaches. Bonifay will never change.
