Has anyone been to this place in Cool Springs? My two friends went with their kids and said the owner was really rude and doesn't allow "junk food," but they sell cookies there. I was just wondering since I hadn't heard much about it.

I've took my 8 year old there a couple times. No one was rude but we didn't bring any food with us. I think it's better for younger kids but my daughter always has a good time. It's comfortable and has wifi.

It's pretty cool inside, but there could be more for the kids to do. I looked it up on Yelp. It looks like the owner has posted a bunch of glowing reviews of herself, but they got filtered...LOL.

ha ha ha ha ha you have to go look on yelp about this place. there are tons of fake reviews that got filtered because the owner tried to post fake reviews. she even described it as a mini-Disney world and it got flagged. seriously, chick, c'mon.

Ummm, I don't get it. Why not just go to one of the many FREE parks in the area? I would never pay $10 to go to this place. There is no way this place will stay open for long. You watch.

I agree. I don't think it will make it and Monkey Treehouse is too popular already. Also, their space is so big. The rent must be a lot. I guess it depends on how much the owners will put into it.

I've heard nothing but negative responses from friends who have been. It looks pretty neat from the outside, but I don't think I would pay their prices. Apparently, the owner thinks she is the sh*+ and I can't stand that. She must not need our $$ too bad.

This place is more boring than Mitt Romney ha ha ha ha ha Just kidding! We went to a party here with the kids this weekend. They had fun......but they also had fun drawing in the dirt with sticks when we got home so maybe they are too easily entertained. These people clearly copied the other tree house place.....whatevs. We like Bounce U better because it wears out the kids more.

I think this place is closed? There were no cars there and the lights were out on Saturday.

(written by Micheala). Hi Everyone! My Husband and I are the owners of Inside Out Play Park and a few of our customers were concerned and told us about the reviews, above, and this site. We invite all of you to visit Inside Out Play Park to see what we are about & all we have to offer (we are definitely not closed and, in fact, have three additional locations set for planned openings). We are a 10,000SF facility and our business plan is very different from the other amazing play facilities in our area. We have three children and have frequented the other play places and believe they are all wonderful and have so much to offer; we definitely agree with you there and can't say enough about the other family entertainment centers in our area. We are so blessed to have such great choices in enriching play for our children!:). Our prices are competitive with those in the area, of course, and our $9 price includes all day play. We are so sorry for those of you who didn't enjoy yourselves or heard that others didn't---we have hundreds of annual and monthly members who love our park and we love them. We want you to find a play place that fits your needs and budget and where you feel comfortable. We support your right to say what you feel about our venue and, although it is heartbreaking to read such negative comments about a business you have put your heart and soul into, we will take your comments and work harder to improve on our product. Thank you for your input--we actually do appreciate these types of posts---they make us work harder to create an even better product--we wish you all the best in your adventures of learning through play. Micheala.(P.S......and you are right...rent's not cheap in Cool Springs....lol)

I personally heard you say negative things about another playplace while I was there. You are never going to make everyone happy, but at least own up to your mistakes, stop posting ridiculous FAKE reviews on Yelp, and stop being so judgmental. You can't say "only healthy food can come in" when YOU sell cookies and treats. It is not any of your business what people choose to feed their children. I'm sure most people can see right through your over-the-top politically correct response here. I know you don't actually think the other playcenters are "amazing" because I HEARD you say otherwise. You seem like a nice person and I'm sure it's hurtful to hear these things, but you must realize that your customers are not stupid. Your facility is really neat, but you are not going to make it if you continue in this manner. I'm sure you've realized by now that word travels fast in the mommy community - negative as well as positive.

We absolutely sell "sometimes foods" (portion containers of cookie cups and mini-cupcakes along side our fruit bowls) at Inside Out Play Park as a means by which to teach children that nothing is off limits, especially after exercising like they do at Inside Out, but we also teach them to "eat their colors" first and to make good choices. We also absolutely allow ooutside food and drink at Inside Out Play Park---just no fast food or soda because it is linked to childhood obesity,(Subway and Chick-fila are A-ok!). You can't accuse us of limiting customers' choices and then when we give choices attack us for that, too---that's just obviously a wholehearted attack on our business and your attempt to make us look bad. The great thing about owning your own business is you get to design the business model and only time will tell how we all do....Micheala and I wish everyone the best and, hopfully, you will all move on to more productive things than sitting behind your computers talking about Inside Out Play Park---of course, it sure is sending our metadata ratings soaring on Google--thanks!

The three women who posted those reviews are personally contacting Yelp to ask that they repost their positive reviews which they wrote and, Yelp tells us, were requested by a 3rd party to be removed. <quoted text>
Nice try, dude, but Yelp doesn't remove posts just because a 3rd party asks them to. Yelp uses a rather complex algorithm to determine whether a post is fake or not and it's automatically flagged as being fake. Sometimes "real" reviews are removed because their criteria are pretty strict, but they do not remove posts simply because someone asks them to. I'm sure they would remove inappropriate language also, but that's it.

How can small business survive if locals won't support it? Do you realize this family put evrrthing on the line to open this place? They employ local people...earn tax revenue for the city...give local vendors work. I bet for the past year this women has worked 60-80 hours a week without seeing a dime. Teenagers that don't show up...others that need constant supervision...broken equipment...and bills that keep coming and coming. On top of that she still has a home to take care of and children. This couple is NOT wealty and like most small business owners...just struggling to get by. You ridicule her because she wants to do well by promoting her business? You tease her because she keeps her chin up and believes in success? So she has a bad hair day once and awhile...don't tell me you wouldn't with that kind of stress? I speak from experience owning a business and the trials you face everyday. I hope you are happy that she is more than likely crying at this cruelty. To the owners- try not to read these boards and listen to the customers and children you see everyday.

So Subway and Chick Fil-A are ok? Subway sells pizza and Chick-Fil-A sells fried chicken and fries. Do you inspect your customers bags when they come to make sure the food is ok with you? This is like watching Anderson Cooper's "Ridiculist." I applaud you for promoting healthy eating, but this is not the way to do it. We won't be back to your place because, as you pointed out, there are other "amazing" choices. And on the way we'll stop at McDonalds for chicken, apples & milk (if that's ok with you).

Wow...this sounds like a witch-hunt...I smell owners of a competitor's business writing this string. I agree with Mean People....just be quiet & leave these people alone. Clearly you just want to disparage their busness and, more of a concern, them personally. It's hard to have someone be more successful, more creative and be taking all the money from your business, I bet. You probably have no customers in your businesses so you have tons of time to write about people you don't even know. Losers. I think the best part is the set up "Hey, has anyone heard of...." and then the negative reply....like that wasn't planned. Just stupidity. Inside Out Play Park is someplace I have taken my children and, am, in fact an annual member and we LOVE it there. They are classy, the owner is as kind and classy as she can be and she is fair. Her post above is completely reflective of the women I have known for the past months and watched work daily. Good luck with your witch hunt...let's see...my guess, since Inside Out has now franchised and has multiple franchisees opening underneath these owners, is they are doing fine and, yes, time will tell who is here for the long haul. I know who I'm putting my family entertainment dollar on.

I was online to book my twins birthday party at inside out and came across these reviews. It is very obvious this is the competition and how desperate of you. I have met with the owners several times to discuss this party and they were very helpful. This is a very clean establishment and mom friendly with healthy food choices and wi-fi. I have recommended this place to all of my mom friends and they love it. The kids love the equipment and the tree is amazing. I highly recommend inside out to parents who want the best for their children.

Wow, yes, I'm sure that's it. You have "competitors" all over town who are conspiring against you. You were already called out for posting fake Yelp reviews. Now the owner disappears and people like "Anita" arrive to gush out compliments for this business. Seriously, this is Business 101. It is YOUR business so you have every right to make the rules. You just might lose some customers over it, but it's still your choice. Put your big girl panties on and get back to focusing on your business. It looks like a cool place from your website (might want to cut back on the exclamation points everywhere though).
