Owasso, OK -- Two Green Country families are grieving, after their sons were killed in a car crash in Noel, Missouri, last month. The man who was driving survived, but police say his driver's license was revoked and they're investigating whether he was drunk.

Aaron Gillming and John Lackey died when the driver, Ricky Crase, slammed into a bridge. Gillming's family says based on Crase's past record, he should never have been behind the wheel.

Aaron Gillming loved riding motorcycles and won a lot of trophies as number 32. When his son, Ryder was born, he got his own mini-version with the same number. Aaron's mother says he also loved taking Ryder fishing.

"Now, Ryder talks to his daddy in heaven every night. He asked me last night,‘Mimi, are there fishing holes in heaven? Do you think daddy is fishing in heaven?' I told him, yes, Daddy is fishing in heaven Ryder," said Brenda Montgomery.

Aaron and John Lackey and Ricky Crase, all from Collinsville, had gone rafting in Missouri, Labor Day weekend. They were headed home Sunday evening when police say Crase lost control and slammed into a bridge. Only Crase survived.

Officers found a beer can and empty cooler nearby although rescuers did not smell alcohol on Crase's breath. Police say they are waiting on blood test results before filing charges.

"I'm so grief stricken. I'm consumed with grief. My whole body is shaking and my heart, I don't even know how it's beating, I don't," said Montgomery.

Montgomery was angry to find out Crase had previous offenses. She believes if something had been done then, her son would be alive now.

Records show Crase pleaded guilty to impaired driving in Tulsa County in 1996, and got probation. In 2000, in Rogers County, he was caught driving with a revoked license and got a fine.

In 2006, in Tulsa County, he pleaded guilty to DUI and speeding, was given a suspended sentence and ordered to have an alcohol assessment. Later that year, after getting a deferred sentence for arson, he was once again ordered to have an alcohol assessment.

In 2007, in Rogers County, he pleaded guilty to DUI and driving with an open container, got another suspended sentence and yet another alcohol assessment.

"Something needs to be done to keep these people off the streets. They're killing people," said Montgomery.

A called placed to Ricky Crase was never returned.

Police in Noel, Missouri say if Crase's blood shows he was intoxicated, he'll face two charges of manslaughter. If not, he'll still face some charge, because he was driving with a revoked license.

A fund has been set up in Braden Ryder Gillming's name at Bank of America.

DRUNK KILLS TWO IN NOEL

Oklahoma City, OK

#5 Oct 17, 2008
It makes me sick to look at the Noel Bridge and see that this is where the Drunk Driver slammed his truck into the cement side, and killed two men.
As most often the case, the habitual drunk driver survived. I seen the truck that the drunk was driving and it was horrible. Why is it that the drunk driver usually lives, so they can get off of the charges again, and continue on down road, killing more innocent victems? I haven't seen his arrest in the papers, I understand his name if Ricky Neal Crase, from Collinsville, OK. Why is it that he's not been arrested. He murdered these two men.

BLOOD ON NOEL BRIDGE

Oklahoma City, OK

#10 Oct 22, 2008
Look at the Noel Bridge. A habitual repeat drunk driver, Ricky Neal Crase, from Collinsville, was three times over the legal limit for intoxication, driving on revoked license, had warrant on his head in Tulsa county for Arson, all when he drove an excessive speed in city limits, lost control and slammed his pasenger side of his truck into Noel Bridge, instantly killing his two innocent passengers, Aaron Gillming and John Lackey, of Collinsville. Crase lived of course, isn't that what usually happens to the sorry drunk, they live. He's in Tulsa county jail now on an outstanding warrant on a Arson charge, tried to burn down his own home. He is facing charges in McDonald County on killing Aaron Gillming and John Lackey. If you think the bridge looks bad, you should see the death truck, in whick Aaron and John took their last breath in. All due this drunk driver. Missouri needs to throw the book at this repeat offender. Aaron Gillming was the fourth Gillming family member killed by drunk drivers. Lamanda Gillming and her six year old son Tylan and four yr old daughter Rayven, were all three killed by a drunk in Texas a few years ago. Just days before Christmas. Oklahoma and Missouri, do something about putting these repeat killers away. Please stop allowing them to kill our beautiful children. Our lives have been affected forever and our children are gone. The drunks just keep on drinking and killing. When will the laws prohibit them from killing our babies?

No, it sounds like all the drunks need to stay off the road, if laws will put these worthless pieces of flesh away, than maybe innocent people can go to the store and not have to worry about what is coming their way! It's a shame that habitual drunks have more rights than innocent unsuspecting people and children. They get more and more chances to continue on until they kill someone, the victems only die once!

No, I've never driven even a little bit drunk. I'm not a drinker for one. I have a heart for another. I don't blame the dead for being killed by a drunk driver either. Sounds as if you are a habitual drunk yourself and are drunk as you type your stupidity in this topix. Or, how many drunk driving offenses have you had. Not everyone such as probably your circle, drives drunk or even drinks. No little child or innocent person ever deserves to die at the hands of a drunk murderer. If you want to drink, than stay home! Go check out the Noel bridge and see where two innocent men lost their lives at the hands of a habitual drunk. You drunks think your invincable at the wheel, you think you are fine, that you won't wreck, mess up, or kill someone. All it takes is one time to kill someone. Drunk drivers have been given too many slaps on the wrists, chance after chance, most just keep on on driving drunk, until they finally kill someone or even an entire family. These innocent victems don't get another chance, when they die, they are dead. No more chance at life. Their families are left with only a lifetime of grieving for their loved ones.

That's right, I value life and I value the life of others. I suggest you do the same and not drink and drive. If you know of someone that is going to.....please take their keys away, or call the police......you could most definitely be saving a life or some lives. Wouldn't that be something to be proud of? If you haven't lost a loved one or loved one's due the hands of a drunken driver, than you do not know the pain that you have to live with. If your child was murdered by a drunk driver, you would see this topix in a different light. If you had to pick out a casket for your child, buriel plot, clothing for them to be buried in and watch your child's casket being lowered into the ground, than you would know what it feels like. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Ill tell you what she thinks he has done.. Murdered her innocent son!(Not so innocent son) Its sad that you have to be so wrapped up in the dead that you forget about the living. Tunnel vision and messed up values. This is what our world is coming too. Leave the man alone the law will deal with him not you!!!

Sounds as if you must be suffering because your man is in J9-L2 Cell and you can't seem to find another drunk to service you.If anygone has messed up values, it's those that condone the killing actions of repeat drunk offenders, usually those who are drunk offenders themselves. Not so innocent themselves, and they are still alive to spout off their stupid messed up values. Tunnel vision maybe not, but the law is the law, and it will prove he was three times over the tox limit, also prove he hit the bridge going an excessive rate of speed, also prove numerous drunk driving convictions, also prove he had a warrant out for his arrest in Okla. for an Arson charge. Doesn't have to be tunnel vision, the court documented cases, is the proof. May he get everything he deserves! Good thing you don't have a dead son, maybe you'd not be spouting off such cruel things about the dead and protecting such a parasite as Crase.

What is bad is you dont know what i have. I have never drank a day in my life! I am not married to a prison inmate, but a doctor. And you are a very bitter vindictive woman who needs to leave other people alone in their misery. I Do know that you will not have anyting to do with the outcome of any court ruling so you should really start concentrating on your own family and leave other people alone. I am not protecting anyone just stating facts. You should learn to deal with death in a way that doesnt make you look like such an uneducated, insane person. Its not becoming to go to peoples work spouting off insanities, yes I know about your visit to her work! The police dept does also. You are not helping anyone acting like that. Grief is on thing vindictive ravings are another.

If the murderer and arsonest's wife is in misery maybe she should have left him when he burned their house down in a domestic dispute, as court records show.Must not have been so miserable to have insured his truck with her being the only mentioned driver on it and not her several times over convicted drunk driver husband with a revoked license! The so called facts you say you state are coming from a woman that works at a bar herself! And a proven lyer, try insurance fraud for one! If any police department knows anything, try the one that worked the aftermath of a drunk driver who killed two men having to help pull two dead men out of the wrecked truck, the truck his wife was insuring, illegally, and enabling her drunken husband. She knew what he was capable of, she knew his record. Ya don't put a child rapist in a room with a bunch of children. In this case ya don't illegally insure a truck for the sole purpose of your drunken husband to drive. His wife has some blame also, no innocent lyer with this one!
