This should be a good race. Some have agenda we(the public)know. I liked Tracy idea of a Q&A forum. This could be bad for our Sup. and AD. Go Pat,Donnie and Guy!!!

I am going with an all new slate. Not that the current board members are bad (I do not think they are) I just think a turnover creates an atmosphere of new ideas and growth. I like Toby because of his unparalleled experience! I prefer Donnie over Bill and I prefer Paige. Paige has a child in Nocona Schools and is a former teacher. Go Toby, Donnie and Paige!!!

I would love to see a school system that has a good balance between sports and academics. I think Toby, Bill, and Page might help get this balance needed.

Well missy, maybe a few of the new candidates should be asked what exactly prompted them to run. As for sammy's comment on who's for or against athletics or academics, i can tell that he really doesn't have clue what he's talking about

It will never happen. There is no way you will get a candidate to put his/her own words in writing. If they say it, then a reporter can write it, and the candidate can deny it. But if the candidate writes it...

I'd suggest that the "test" used to decide who you should vote for is easy,... vote for the candidate who has a vested interest in the betterment of the I.S.D.,... their own children in the system. For anyone with a good memory, the "vast experience" that "A Tribe Parent" mentioned should be proof enough of exactly what we DON'T want!

"Clueless" here are my views, and "CrazyDude" here they are in black and white. The following are the reasons you should vote for me.
I am a product of Nocona ISD and think that all students should be afforded the same opportunities that I was allowed in this great school district. It is one of the chief reasons I moved back to raise my children. I have experience as an attorney and a licensed teacher. I believe I can bring some new ideas from my experiences outside of Nocona that will help our district. As "sammy" stated I don't know who has stabbed whom in the back, which might be the clean slate this district needs to continue in the right direction. If you have any questions, I am listening.
