So everyone knows and it is easy to find, I am posting a list of candidates jean Hedrick is giving people telling them to support them. In case you didn't know, jean Hedrick is the mother of Debbie Jordan and Ernie Hedrick. Mother in law of jack Jordan, grandmother of Casey and chad Mathes. This should make you wonder what agenda they have if they are circulating this list.
Council at large- Brenda Tyler and Shawn larck (son in law of mark Saunders)
Ward 1-al walls
Ward 2-Casey Fabian
Ward 3-lorrie Tyler lane (daughter of Brenda Tyler)
Ward 4- their candidate dropped out, but was Julia larck.(daughter of mark saunders)

I want to also help everyone just so everyone knows and it is easy to find. I am posting the list of candidates Don Karnes/Dave Casebolt is/are supporting.
In case you didn't know Don Karnes is a former Mayor of Nitro. Don Karnes was a real estate guy who sold the city out in the THF deal. The city lost tens of millions of dollars in B&O Tax revenue. Dave Casebolt is his protege and Dave is also working the real estate angle in Nitro. Already attempting to get 39th to 41 st rezoned from residential to commercial. Like Don Karnes is Dave Casebolt's motives for the city or for himself.
I am sure everyone has seen Don Karnes Blvd out at the marketplace. It just cost you tens of millions of dollars in B&O taxes over the last 20 years.
What further plans do they have for themselves at Nitro's expense. Watch their list very carefully.
Mayor - Dave Casebolt
Recorder - Jim McKay
Council at Large - Craig Matthews, Bill Javins
Ward 1 - Donna Boggs
Ward 2 - Bill Racer
Ward 3 - Laurie Elkins and Herschel Facemeyer
Ward 4 - they couldn't get anyone to run but the have already had big Jim McKay let the newcomer know that if he doesn't know how to vote to just look to him and he will tell him.
This discussion took place in the middle of Benimati Street. Big Jim when you are telling a new councilman that if he doesn't know how to vote to just look to you and you will tell him you really shouldn't do it in the middle of the street where the neighbors can hear what you are saying.

From what I understand, councilman joe savilla is who encouraged Donna Boggs to run and is supporting her. Also, it is assanine for you to claim they are sponsoring two candidates in the same ward. Bill racer is encumbant, and the gentleman running in ward 4 seems to be very objective with his points of view Your opinion is not able to be substantiated. Looks like these people decided to do this on their own, unlike your candidates you have dug up who have absolutely no legitimate experience that would allow them to compliment the city council.

Ultimately everyone decides to run on their own.
As for the 2 candidates in Ward 3 - they don't care which one wins as long as Lorie Lane doesn't.
The people of Nitro will decide this election.
But I have always said that they have no real choice.
Rusty Casto is just the lesser of the two evils in this election.

Your right about one thing, The people will decide this election.
#6 May 15, 2012
Interesting that neither of you included Leonard Womble - hmmm
#7 May 15, 2012
Leonard is attempting to play both sides...

doesn't surprise me

I hate to see election time roll around again...It's like clock work. I get my once every four years phone call/visit telling me who I need to support in the upcoming election & wanting to post signs on my property. Those are what I call, fair weather friends. Talk to you again in four more years.
#10 May 20, 2012
Hope you told them no.
#11 May 20, 2012
four more years you talk about the fair weather friends.
At least they call you every four years. It says alot about you as well. You call them fair weather friends but I would dare say if they do not contact you and you needed something from them you would call them in a second to get help or assistance.
We live in a very hectic world and it is hard to keep in constant touch with all the people we know.
The people who are making calls at campaign time are calling on all their resources. people they talk to on a daily basis and those they know but may not have talked to for some time.
This is common. I guess since you haven't picked up the phone to contact them then they really don't matter to you either.
As for you are crazy saying I hope you told them no. If everyone who was contacted during campaign time that wasn't contacted any other time - then NO would be the word and there would be few campaign signs out and about in town.

This is all just too funny!! Of course they are going to react, they are the ones calling people for the mayor and posting his signs. Those phone calls aren't necessary from the other side because they are out working themselves. I know it may be a foreign concept, but it shows a willingness to work, which is more than I can say for Casto.
#13 May 21, 2012
My comment wasn't based on anything more than the person stating that they had fair weather friends. That call them only every four years at election time.
This is what people do during election time. The call everyone they know to get the motivated and remind them to be sure and vote.
It is funny how some will say those people who make the call are the fair weather friends. When they also only pick up the phone to call when they need something or not at all until they receive that very call in which they are complaining.
So how you tied that back to Casto is beyond me.
But since you have I will comment on the supporters of Casebolt just on this website.
Bashing only one family to try and aid their candidate. Sorry state of affairs and I for one hope if Dave Casebolt is elected he and his family are ready for the onslaught that will come their way. Because Karma is a b*tch.
#14 May 21, 2012
Sounds like a premeditated threat, you and your friend sheila are the kind of people that make situations out to being more than they really are. Big feeling people that think there always right and can't for the life of them have an adult conversation or tell the truth, so you make up stories and over explain everything. more than likely you don't even live in Nitro. Is your name Karma?
#15 May 21, 2012
Don't associate me with anyone else. I am not a big feeling anything.
But the comment about Karma is 100% on the money.
Dave Casebolt and his minions are out and about bashing Chief Jordan and his family. Lying to the residents about things in order to try and get elected.
I always will go back to the point I make over and over again. Any man who will lie to the very people in which he worships will lie to anyone about anything.
Dave Casebolt in my opinion is a coward and a liar. A coward because he hides behind others and can only lie behind the backs of those he maligns. A liar because he is telling people in the community things that are not true and he knows it.
#16 May 21, 2012
I did and I will, because you are. You keep on telling your lies on here so that makes you a coward too then.
#17 May 21, 2012
What lie. Dave Casebolt told the people he attends church with that he was against the expansion of gambling in Nitro.
Dave Casebolt worked on the very ordinance that allowed Castaway Bar to get video slot machines.
This makes him a liar to the people in which he prays.
Dave Casebolt has told resident after resident that there was missing money in the Nitro Police Account. Knowing that the statement was false.
So what did I say that was false. You still haven't pointed it out - only copied my original post.
There is nothing in that post that is inaccurate.
#18 May 21, 2012
I heard Castaway's is getting rid of their video lottery machines and the law you say Dave Casebolt helped write will no longer allow those machine within a very long distance of other machines, schools, parks and churches. So Casebolt's law basically outlawed the gaming machines for good after Castaway's got theirs. Now with Castaway's giving theirs up, Nitro is back to the same number of gaming businesses and will never have to worry about another gaming machine coming into the City. Sounds like it was a really good trade in keeping Nitro safe. Thanks Mr. Casebolt!
#19 May 21, 2012
Really. I guess we are rewriting history now.
Castaways had no video slot machines. Dave Casebolt was on record with his church members that he opposed the expansion of gambling in Nitro.
While this was going on the ordinance Dave Casebolt worked on allowed Castaways to get their video slot machines.
If Castaways is giving theirs up good for them if that is what they choose to do. But they never would have had them in the first place without Dave Casebolt and his ordinance. It was crafted in such a way that Castaways could get their video slots. Thus expanding gambling in Nitro.
He did not share this with his church members. He was staunchly against the expansion of gambling with and in those conversations with the people he attended services.
He can try and rewrite history all day long.
The fact is Mr. Casebolt allowed the expansion of gambling in Nitro all the while telling his fellow church members he was opposed.
This means Dave Casebolt is a LIAR.
He can not nor can you rewrite history.
