Hats off to Mayor Casebolt and the dream team for finishing 2012 under budget. Job well done!

And let's have a shout out to the dream team for closing offices on Christmas eve, thus allowing city employees a 4 day weekend to spend with their loved ones during the holidays. Yes family is very important to city hall.

And way to go Police Chief Brian Oxley for shaking it up with the police officers and creating 12 hour shifts and then figuring out how to properly have the shifts professionally supervised.

Those are just but a few mild examples as to why Nitro is soon to be known as the best small town in West Virginia.

Yes it looks as though Nitro is heading in the right direction. Move over Lewisburg here comes Nitro!!!!

Happy Holidays and Go Wildcats!

If that is the case then John Young lied again to the public. He just gave the final figures for 2012 in an open council meeting.

The deficit for 2012 was 333,661. That is not under budget except in the land of Casebolt and Young.

As for your comments about the police department again false. They are down three officers. As for properly supervising shifts - Brian Oxley couldn't make a decision if a gun was to his head.

So once again you have Craig Matthes so called councilman city of nitro on topix lying to the public.

Under Budget for 2012 LIE LIE LIE - YOU FINISHED WITH A DEFICIT OF 333,661.

MOVE OVER LEWISBURG - MORE LIKE MOVE OVER CHICAGO HERE COMES NITRO.

Good job Nitro for voting in a great leader like Mayor Casebolt. He is really getting things done!! The Dream Team deserves a hand for all their part in making Nitro the place to go too. And Chief Oxley was much needed in the Police Dept to get it back on top. Looking good Nitro!!!! Happy Holidays and Go Wildcats!

Wow watching members of council posting out here is really very funny.

Your topic is a false premise since the 2012 year ended with a deficit as stated above of more than 333,661.

John Young, Casebotl and Matthews couldn't tell the truth to save their lives.

NO SURPLUS / A DEFICIT 333,661.

I said UNDER BUDGET nitwits! I said nothing about deficits and etc...UNDER BUDGET! Now also keep in mind that Mayor Casebolt has been in office for only 6 months and he inherited a fiscal mess if i'm not mistaken. Again job well done City Hall

Well done!

Stu

How else would you propose to fix some of the intrastructure in Nitro. DUH!

Replacing pipes around Nitro High School ( Go Wildcats), replacing pump station number six and systems upgrade. If that doesn't qualify as intrastructure then....

anymore more questions my friend?

Mason Jars has officially confirmed that he's a total dumbass. On a previous thread this waste of space mis-spelled sense twice and he knows exactly what I'm talking about. Now this shit stain can't wrap his head around infrastructure...Someone buy this douche bag a dictionary and an interpreter for Christmas

Well you really got me on that one my dear friend Rasta. I have no idea where 'intrastructure" came from. I can't blame that one on anyone but myself. Yep" that phopa was strictly mine and mine alone. Sure was nice of you to catch it and bring it to my attention.

Now I really appreciate the suggestion of a dictionary and interpreter for Christmas I really do, but it's totally unnecessary. I'm not one to brag, but I have just about everything a man needs and more so if you don't mind instead of the "dictionary and interpreter" how about a small cash donation to the Kanawha Animal Shelter and or just maybe volunteer on occasions and do whatever it is they need at that moment. Feed em, clean their poop, walk them, brush them, etc.

Believe it or not I actually thought you were questioning my reasons for the " Infrastructure " not my spelling of it. Silly me.

Jesus Christ here it is Thursday morning in the wee hours and apparently I haven't still recovered from last saturdays party. How i'll survive New Years eve is anybodys guess.

Don't forget about the Kanawha Animal shelter. Bring along a young child and allow them the experience. you'll be glad you did.

It's inFrastructure not inTrastructure.

Thanks for the tip young grasshopper.

Happy Holiday and Go Wildcats!

Well Rasta it appears the only dumbass is you. If you couldn't figure out what Mason Jars meant (as you claim).....when only one letter was wrong then......well that is pretty dumb. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

You are an absolute IDIOT. Did John Young tell you that you can come in under budget and have a deficit at the same time. Because if he did then HE LIED AGAIN. You are saying that Mayor Casebolt inheritted a fiscal mess. A mess from who JOHN YOUNG. What a joke.

A city has a budget. That budget is their game plan for the year. Shows their anticipated revenues and expenditures. At the end of the year a city either has a deficit or a surplus based on that projection and game plan. 2012 ended with a DEFICIT OF 333,661 according to John Young. The city of Nitro did not come in under budget for 2012 that is a LIE

Again, Casebolt inheritted a financial mess - I am asking from who and what mess. Wasn't Casebolt also on council the last four years and responsible for making financial decisions with his DREAM TEAM.
