Tax and Spend. Or not. It's a basic choice.

I'm so glad we'll finally get something more than ugly attack ads.

"Blakeslee won the district primary June 22, but did not get the majority of votes needed to avert an Aug. 17 runoff."

Which means he did not win, he was just the top vote-getter.

I'm trying to keep an open mind, but so far all I know about Blakeslee is he likes mudslinging. What is he hiding from?

Did you know that Laird wants a COUNTY INCOME TAX, on top of the State and Federal levels? That will continue to squash the Middle Class.

Read the next post. What does your open mind think about an additional tax structure?

Will any of these debates be televised or did I miss something in the article?

I'm quite disappointed that the public won't be able to attend or view the debate. We will only get the media's biased interpretation of what transpired. Kinda defeats the purpose, it seems to me.

Hmm, are you the idiot with homo-rage who probably caused the last shutdown? You planning to test the system again?

Laird: career politician and tax and spend stooge for public employee unions who will support big wage increases and will prevent any efforts to reform the 1/2 TRILLION dollar pension deficit.

Blakeslee: Someone who has actually accomplished something who will protect you from higher taxes and the continuing abuses of the public employee unions.

Is there really any choice here? If Laird has any decency, he will concede the election and save the counties $6 million. He won't because his union bosses won't allow such a travesty!

Laird wants to add a COUNTY income tax on top of the state and federal levels. That should help the drowning middle class.
