THE CDFA LIGHT BROWN APPLE MOTH (LBAM) PROGRAM IS A FRAUD FOR MONEY.

The California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA) fabricated the threat from LBAM to fraudulently access $ Billions of taxpayer dollars pretending to fix an emergency.

LBAM has done NO DAMAGE to forests anywhere on Earth. LBAM has been in Hawaii 115 years and NO DAMAGE. LBAM is not a crop-damaging pest of economic significance anywhere.

Buried within the 1500 page Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR), CDFA admits that "NO CROP DAMAGE" has occurred from LBAM in California (Chapter #3, Page 3-20, section 3.2.3.2, lines #4 & 5 and Chapter #3, Page 3-21, 3rd & 4th line under Table 3-16).

The reason CDFA put the truth in the EIR is because a judge will likely review the EIR during lawsuits against the LBAM Eradication Program, but since judges don't make judgments on media articles or falsehoods in community meetings, CDFA top management continues to lie to the media and at these community meetings.

COMMUNITY MEETINGS: If CDFA shows pictures of LBAM damage, which they often fabricate, ask them why that damage isn't included in their own LBAM Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR). Ask CDFA why no county agriculture commissioner in the state has any actual documentation of LBAM damage. Ask CDFA why it says "NO CROP DAMAGE" from LBAM in the LBAM EIR (Chapter #3, pages 3-20, 3-21).

Some agricultural commissioners may repeat the false stories they've been told since they work for CDFA, but ask for actual documentation from any county agriculture commissioner in California and you will find that there is NONE. The CDFA and the USDA delivered stories of crop threat and crop damage to create a false impression of emergency for this moth. LBAM has almost the identical DNA and characteristics as numerous other tortricidae moths that are also living here in California and no threat to agriculture or forests.

TWIST TIES. Twist ties were engineered ONLY for agricultural fields where people are not allowed to be. The toxic synthetic pesticide that the twist ties are soaked in and which enters the air to confuse the moths are 100's of thousands of times more concentrated than people would ever come in contact with a non-toxic natural moth pheromone from a real moth.

CDFA promotes that the toxic synthetic based pheromone pesticide is "Less toxic" than other pesticides, but other pesticides are not allowed to be applied into communities where people live and raise families.

There is not a single drop of natural moth pheromone in the twist ties. Instead it is a toxic synthetic chemical pesticide that includes a list of ingredients that is kept secret and called "Proprietary."

The people of Sonoma County rejected CDFA and did not allow twist ties on their property. And note that Sonoma has had NO DAMAGE from LBAM, even though the people rejected twist ties in their community.

CDFA is a govt. agency that serves to make the rich richer. Every time a quarantine is triggered, the taxpayer is forced to empty their pockets of millions and millions of dollars to pay for the pesticides and chemicals wealthy growers put on their crops. Additonally our private property and public lands are invaded by CDFA to hang their traps and twist ties so quarantines and taxpayer money may be grabbed.
Industrial agriculture can make or break scientists' careers in our universities and every politician's career depends upon these wealthy growers good will, hence our media and politicians and scientific research are all captured and truth suffers and our taxpayer monies are given not to social programs but to the top 1 percent of wealth in the US
