Avoid the Walmart on Golf Road

That store is horrible in every respect. Especially the electronics departments. All the employees there are rude, the store is FILTHY and their return policy is bad news.

And, never ever get hooked up with Walmart's Family Mobile. They'll lie to you about EVERYTHING.
Donna is the worst. She's tall and very heavy set. Charlene & Elena are two very hostile managers who come across as nice at first but get very nasty if you make a complaint.

The check out people will ring up your stuff and try to steal some of it. On many occasions I came home with items missing, that I still had to pay for. Good luck getting your money back in cases like that.

walmart treats their workers like crap. when you are overworked and underpaid, and get nothing but abuse and bad behavior from your management, that trickles down to the employees. that's why you see so many rude, unhappy and unscrupulous people working there. on top of that they sell a lot of junk from china that is made in sweatshops by kids paid 14 cents a day... all that does is help destroy our economy while enriching a few fatcats (like the walton family)

That pretty much nails it. Though Target is just as bad, especially with the China imports. Target employees are not as rude as Walmart ones, but their customer service is horrible.

That being said, some Walmart stores are better than others. I do like the one in Elk Grove. However, the one of Golf road is horrible as stated in the first post. The employees there are worse than any place I ever shopped, the cashiers do steal your groceries and Walmart Family Mobile is also a must to avoid.

Target Prices are the same as Walmart, but the stores are a lot cleaner. Customer service does suck at both. And I used to live in Niles and avoided that Golf Road Walmart like it was the plague. The managers at the store really have an attitude and I also couldn't stand that big, fat and ugly Donna. I don't even think she was a manager but she acted like she owned Walmart.

I don't know what's worse: A bookie who whines when bettors get hot, or a whining Yuppie investor like you.

If you were so smart, you'd invest in a company that has some semblance of customer service, not a company who thinks they're too big to fail and could care less about the consumer. Their prices are not THAT great. I'd rather pay a little more and go home knowing all my groceries I bought are still there. But that's just me.

I'd pay DOUBLE before I'd even stop to spit on the sidewalk in front of a Walmart. Walmart is by far the WORST company in the US to work for. When hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast and many big-box retailers lost stores, Walmart told their employees "tough shit if your store is closed, you're out of work" When other retailers, like Home Depot & Target told their employees that they could go to any open store and they could work, Walmart reversed it's policy ONLY because they looked bad. I will NEVER step foot in a Walmart or Sam's Club. Costco is way better anyway.
