I thought we were supposed to be eating foods grown locally.

Sorry, nothing beats imported feta and honey from the motherland. Even my olive oil is form the family village groves.

I agree with the "local foods" comment. Big hairy deal there's stuff from all over. I'll bet some vegetable or other in my fridge is from Chile. What else is new? How about more and better selections of locally grown produce at a reasonable price?

They were having a hard time with this one, so they thought they'd leave it alone. Kinda hard to figure out where to place racist, non-citizen oreo comment somewhere between Lithuanian and Vietnamese and still have it apply to healthcare reform and killing senior citizens.

No Indonesian food?

Whats the matter, Obama's muslim terrorist buddies are too busy making plans to destroy America instead of opening a grocery store?!?!?

There are no Afghani, Saudi, or Iranian food stores listed in this article either, or any in Hyde Park. Further proof Obama has turned Hyde Park into yet another repressive terrorist cell!

In case you are really dense, I am joking. But, I am curious how many angry responses I will get.

Does one have to be a right winger to hate Obama?

I'm a moderate who voted for him and really regret it now. All he cares about is Wall Street and Corporate Welfare. That health care plan is all rhetoric.

Most of these places are in the suburbs and only available to people with cars - how bout places that people who take CTA can get to?

For example - Chinatown Market @ Archer and Wentworth - you think you are in Hongkong and the prices are good!

This article is about food. Notice how the writer made no mention of politics or Barack Obama and that's because this ARTICLE IS ABOUT FOOD!!!! Can you bozos just show some respect to the writer and spew your nonsense elsewhere?

OK. What kind of crap does Obama eat? You already give a damn what kind of beer he drinks.
