Does anyone know the name of the 5 yupik indians that Captain Nelson met when he went to Nelson Island? I am doing family genealogy and there are relatives that I am looking for that were born on Nelson Island. Last name is spelled in different ways, they are Gosatuk, Gusatuk, and Kusakook. Does anyone recognize those names?

We don't consider ourselves "Indians", but Yup'ik. The name does sound familiar though. I know there are Kashatok's in Kipnuk, Alaska. Probably pronounced the same way that you would say it.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
