So, T-Paw's developer pals have run off with all the money from selling houses on the flood
plain and the taxpayers pay for the clean up, rescue, billions in water diversion projects, and
Fed Ag drainage projects that help cause the floods.

T-Paw should have the sack to tell people we will not bail them out. They are a drain on
society and should get out of the flood plain. As we have seen year after year after year....

Why are we paying for this crap? It floods every year. Bring the Guard back home, and let those stupid folks out there start figuring out it`s their problem if they stay in that place...not the taxpayers problem.

Enough is enough!

I was there last year sand bagging. Many residents were very nice, however others, in the fancier part of town simply watched us sandbag around their houses. Worse yet, there were those that complained about what the dikes would do to their landscaping. I couldn't believe it.

I am 62.
I have been hearing about FARGO Flooding for most of my Life.
What is it about the natural River level in the spring that I understand after hearing about it for most of my life that the people who live in and govern the area do not understand?

The Red River is flooding for the nth time in x years. Let the fools that continue to rebuild and live there float away and let's be done with it. Their constant harping, pleas and whining for us to save them each spring is tiring.

I am proud of my son for being in the Guard and giving up 1 month of his life to sandbag. He signed up for the job.At the same time I have a big problem as other writers do about the terrible expense both financially and emotionally.I love nature as much as the next guy but I'm not going to make other people pay for saving my butt every spring. This is much like the way America is going anyway.Entitlements -vs- Responsiblity.More people relying on less people to carry their butt, without even giving the responsible person a care."I deserve this"and "they owe me"are common thinking ,coupled with a government anxious to comply with this suicidal idealism. Its time for America to WAKE UP!
