I guess Admiral D's isn't so bad if you don't mind the stench for the low lake level and algae from White Bear Lake and the road traffic 10 feet from your table.

Neighborhood Bar/Restaurant Patios - You missed a good one here. Downtown White Bear Lake, Washington Square. Good food, good service, decent value with a great patio. Try it, you will like it.

W.A. Frost's food is middling and overpriced. And their patio is usually packed with posers and rich jerks.

Most underrated patio in town is at Obento-Ya, the Japanese gem on Como in Minneapolis.

Don't go to Lord Fletchers. They will tow you if you park there and meet up with friends on a boat, even if you spend $300 for lunch and plan on coming back for dinner (I know this from experience). The staff is rude and food is questionable at best. Maynards is MUCH MUCH better. Happy dining.

How did you miss the patio at the BarnBoard Grill & Saloon in Roberts WI. This is by far the nicest patio I have ever seen. The entire bar and restaurant is done with 100year old recycled bar wood. The Patio also has a full bar on it that looks like a moonshine shsck made out of the old barnboard also. You should really check it it out. They are 1 mile off hyw 94 North on hyw 65, you cant miss it the patio is the first thing you see.
