Let me begin by saying that I am so very sorry for your loss. I cnn't even begin to imagine the terrible sense of loss that you must be going through.
I have not met you, but I need you to know how much I cherish what little time that I spent with Greg. What a fine, genuine, and good hearted man he was. I really enjoyed the time I spent with Todd and him over the weekend at the hunting shack. My fondest memories are of our trip to Chicago with Todd. We were on our way uptown to Wrigley for a Cubs game. On the subway ride up, our train shut down underground for quite some time in stifling heat with no power and as a result, no air conditioning. A number of folks around us began to panic, but Greg, in his calm, cool, "Gregness", engaged the folks around him in some light banter that had a very calming effect on the whole situation. I didn't know Greg all that well, but I am truly blessed to have met him and to have spent time with him. My wish for you is to take this one comfort out of your so very tragic loss. Greg was a fine human being who had a very positive and uplifting effect on the people that had the very distinct priviledge of spending time with him. You can be very proud of the fine man that he was. I know that I am.
