What happened to the other topix room on this? It had a huge string of comments? & it had a photo of the guy who did it in the doorway of the bus!!! Egads!

Whatever. if they find the perp, I suggest chaining him to the front of the bus. Since all buses go down the street about 50 miles and hours and swerve corners, this front-view perspective would be a great deterrent to further crime from this slimeball.

Just a friendly suggestion since the courts are no longer involved in criminal justice. But are so weak they are a justice-for-the-criminal gateway to freedom for the slimeballs.

But what do I know? I'm just a decent law-abiding citizen.

And do the same for the queer marriage protesters who torment decent, traditional marriage people.

This country needs vigilante justice since the law and courts have no respect and do not help good people.

Get a job or at least volunteer to use your time more appropriately.

Kudos to Emily for being the self-reliant young woman she is.

I hope Emily gets her computer back, but quite honestly, why in heaven's name would a blind woman put a $6500 machine under her seat on a public bus? The loser who stole from her hardly knew what was in it. Yes, he should be severely punished but c'mon folks, he stole a backpack from the floor of the bus. Keep things in perspective, friends.

Moi,
Are you serious? How did marriage protesters who "torment decent, traditional married people" become part of this discussion? "Vigilante justice?" You scare me.....a lot more than the jerk who stole her backpack or the principled people who seek equal rights for all citizens, regardless of their orientation.

I want to know where Mrs. R is to leave "it's" opinion is on this. Somehow I think "it" will find that it is perfectly ok to take someone elses property...maybe "it" did it. SHAME ON YOU!

There are a few wise commets here. However most of the comments are by simpletons with waaaaay too much time on their hands.

Again, find the a-hole who did this and strap him to the front of the bus. That will cure him.

And topix has pulled their original room where there was a PHOTO OF THE PERP! What happened to that???

Yep! Unfortunately, you are RIGHT, Danny Boy. This is Minnesota, the leading justice-FOR-the-criminal system of UNlaws. Carry your gun when you come here. I do.

Completely clueless!!! Deb, you and all other like minded do nothings, are the reason things are so out of hand today. Until we, the people, stop blaming the victims and excusing the criminals, society will keep spiraling down into the sewer.
Certain, severe consequences for bad behavior is the only answer.

The picture went with the story right here on topix. But they pulled it off or buried it in the other stories.

They DID have a photo of a guy looking into the camera from the open back door the bus. Indeed what happened to it ??????????

It had to be a phony photo. The likelihood of getting a pic of this guy is like zero. It would be like the fateful Zappruder movie of Kennedy. Right place right time. One in a zillion.
