Also, I don't believe Key will ever be allowed to testify on Raye's behalf. Judge Vassar was very careful to be fair to Raye Dawn and her attorney during the tial, he more often sided with them instead of the DA. He had to have a good reason backed up by precident or state law to disallow Key's testimony.

many people would like to and did suppress evidence of the conspiring emails too,

and also the testimony of the only other witness besides Kelsey and the other two year old boy in the house hold, his 8 year old daughter who told a school counselor that her daddy was real nice to kelsey in front of others...
she told the school counselor of two times she walked in on him severely beating kelsey, spanking kelsey til she puked, and banging her head against a brick wall, all in the week before she died.
so what evidence was raye dawn allowed for the defense?

I think if the state of oklahoma wants to start putting women in prison for enabling then they should get a mother who watched her child get beat and did not leave. we have plenty of those around to make this law work.

She knew. She allowed it. She didn't want to lose her man. Kelsey told her that Mike was hurting her. She stayed.

when kelsey died she only had three small bruises,
she died from a single blow to the stomach, which can be had from falling down stairs,
this investigation was so blotched that i would not be surprised if she was not even abused,
but i remember the important words of a witness that they had walked in on mike porter grossly and secretly spanking kelsey til she puked and another time secretly banging her head against a brick wall the week that she died.

Lies???? She was removed from her "loving" mother's home because of the abuse. If Raye did not know before, she knew then and she should have left. She stayed and now Kelsey is dead. THAT is why Raye is in prison.

I don't care who marks my posts as mean or whatever. When child services stepped in and took Kelsey, Raye should have asked questions if she was so clueless not to see the injuries (even though she is the one who had an explanation for ALL of them) she should have known something was going on. You don't wait until your child is dead and then say "looking back I can see the signs".
Raye, you should have stood up for your child! Instead you stood up for your husband. Kelsey was a beautiful child and you allowed Mike Porter to destroy that. Now you are in prison where you belong. You and Mike deserve everything you get.

Fortunately, twelve jurors AND two appeals courts looked at the actual evidence and they all disagreed with your ill founded 'conclusions'.

But I would love to see a single case of a child who DIED of blunt force trauma to the abdomen after falling down stairs or for that matter one who fracture her clavicle by falling out of a crib or broke BOTH legs due to wearing unsuitable footwear.
