Just wanted to know how a person would go about becoming a paramedic? Where do you go, and what do you need to do? Are there any schools around here for this training??

I know of several that have been trained by her and they are some of the best in this area. I have even been treated after a serious accident by her and several others that she trained and got the best pre-hospital care you could get. Anyone who claims "bad things" about her and the company should bone up and say it themselves and not hide behind a screename of any sort. I proudly support the owners of this company and have had many dealings with them, and never had any unprofessional acts in my presence.

Signed, G. Jewell

kbems.kctcs.edu is the site hosted by the kentucky board of emergency medical services.
this link, http://hultgren.org/cgi-bin/teemz/teemz.cgi , will take you to the kentucky ems connection, which is a forum used by a lot of kentucky's emergency professionals and firefighters. this website has forums dedicated to the promotion of upcoming emt basic, paramedic, and first responder courses. keep in mind that you must first become an emt basic before you can be accepted into a paramedic course.
jessamine county ems is in partnership with the jessamine county board of education in reference to an emergency medical technician course that is held at the jessamine career and technology center. you must be a jessamine county student, of course.

But that Jessamine county class doesn't help adults that would like to become EMTs which is annoying.

The class held at jctc during school hours is strictly for high school students. An adult class recently ended that took place during evening hours. Visit www.jcems911.com as it will likely have information posted if another adult/public class is hosted. Also, visit www.hultgren.org and click on the forums link to the left. There is a forum specific to emt courses. Many counties and services in Kentucky host emt courses and often times they will post the information in that forum.

RIGHT!!!! Ive heard a lot of bad things with that place. They take a lot of short cuts and pretty much steal your money. I heard that the owner is a real B**** and has done a lot of sleazy things to get where she is at.
I am seriously considering taking their phlebotomy course....but your comments are very concerning. Could you elaborate a bit more about your grievances with this company??
