The food is some of the higher priced in Nicholasville but most of it is pretty spectacular. I've tried most of it because I'm a dishwasher there.

The specialty pizzas are all really wonderful. They have several kinds of nachos (bbq chicken and steakhouse are both pretty awesome) and the portions for almost everything are large. They also make almost everything from scratch.

If you like bacon and/or ham you will love this place. If you don't, you might hate it. The house salad is lettuce, tomato, and mounds of bacon and ham. There are probably more dishes with one or both of those two than without. There's even a burger with ham on it.

"Nasty" must be a troll...I say that for two reasons, first, they rated Copper River as nasty before the place had even opened, and secondly it's not nasty.

When we went in the place was PACKED...when we pulled into the parking lot it was full, so I called them to see what kind of wait we were looking at and was told 15 minutes or so. We found a parking space and walked in and were seated immediately. The service was friendly and attentive and even though it was verrry busy things moved along pretty well. We started off with their crab soup and it was excellent. My husband had the prime rib sandwich and it looked nice. I had the chicken tender salad, the tenders were very moist and juicy and obviously hand breaded...and the portion was so big that I had the rest of it for lunch today. My husband ordered the cheesecake and that portion was HUGE...we brought half of that home as well. I think the prices were reasonable as well..dinner for two, with dessert and nonalcoholic drinks was under 50 bucks.

My wife and I ate there Wed at lunch time. I had the soup & salad and my wife had an Italian sub and both meals were outstanding!!

The service was unbelievable and even the owner stopped our table to explain how our meals were prepared.

My only wish is, six months down the road, I hope they don't get complacent and the food and service start to suffer.

Right now, hands down the best place to eat in town!

Yep, Steve, best around, hands down.

I'm just hoping that in the next few weeks the newness wears off and things get a little less crazy there. We've been twice, first time food and service was excellent--that was on Tuesday night. We went back last night with friends, and the place was crazy busy. We had a larger party than the table of two that we were on our first visit, and we had a different server. She was sweet and meant well, but the service wasn't nearly as good....part of it was that they were so busy, but some of it was she was (I think) less experienced and "in the weeds". We ordered 2 drinks from the bar, on arrived, but the second one didn't show up until the THIRD time we asked for it. Other than that, it was a good time. Their cheesecake is great, the moosetracks brownie was decent, not great.

For you and Steve you have Nothing to worry about with the service suffering after time. I have worked at a lot of Restaurants, even Ran a couple and I have NEVER seen a Place take that much Pride in their food and all around business. From start to Finish it is the Cleanest most organized place Iv'e ever worked. Notice they Don't advertise. They focus completely on the Food quality and depend on word of mouth and The repeat customer. So Keep coming guys and we'll do our best not to disappoint!

Hey, CR Cook....wasn't trying to say I hoped the service wouldn't suffer, just saying that hopefully once the "new" wears off the place won't be as crazy mobbed!! and that should happen..not that I think business will fizzle, but soon there won't be a wait for tables on a Tuesday night.

Hey, you could tell me...Tuesday night we heard the boys in the kitchen singing a couple of times...what were y'all singing, and do you ever plan on bringing the show to the dining room? LOL Also, occasionally there is an outburst of cheers from the kitchen...what's up with that? It's good to hear y'all having fun...its happy food! lol

This place is unbelievable good!! Food is so fresh and value is great. Unique atmosphere! So happy to have this place in Nicholasville and can't wait to get one in Lexington. The place is so clean and flavor of food is second to none. I really think this restaurant is just as good or better than anything in Nicholasville or Lexington. I will definitely be back soon. Can't wait for more Nachos!

It is honestly the best place in town to eat, in my opinion. The food is amazing, the salads are fresh, the waiters and waitresses are exceptionally nice and very prompt. It's a nice relief from Mexican food and pizza, which are the basic staples of this town.
