If the fathers are getting tax refunds then the state should be holding them up for your kids, it sux that you need to hire a lawyer to get your support, is the local office not helping in going after the dads? They should be handling all that for you, if they are not employed then that is a problem but if they work then the judgement of support should be enforced by the state including
issuing warrants for flagrant non-support, I am a father that paid all my support on time every time, the youngest just turned 18 so it is done but unless they are unempolyed or unable to work they should pay.

John Reynolds did my case. He was pretty great. He was really upfront and honest with me and always easy to get ahold of.

I have had full custody of my 15 year old son since his bio-mother decided he was an inconvenience to her when he was 5. She has never paid child support. She has been arrested twice for it and given 2 years probation both times. She did not pay then and was not arrested until her probation was over. I was told that the jails were too full to put her in there for child support. She doesn't work and she moved to Alabama. I managed to make that hard for her so she's now moving to Georgia. She is now over $16,000 in arrears.

The bottom line is that you will only get support if he wants to pay it. DO NOT COUNT ON THE LEGAL SYSTEM FOR THIS. I'm learning more all the time that the legal system does the most good for those who abuse it.

My advice is John Reynolds. He got me custody of one of my grandsons and got the parental rights to the other one terminated on both parents so I could adopt him and give him the permanency he deserves. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. None of them work cheap, but if it's worth going after, go gungho and don't give up! The kids are worth it!!!

Well, that is always the risk.....I didn't really have the extra money either, but the children were abandoned by their mother (my daughter!) and I needed to step out in faith for their protection. If they weren't with me they'd have been living in a crack house. It was pretty bad...

I recommend John Tranter. He was my attorney on several family court issues(child support, custody, medical bills etc) My exes was John Reynolds and he is good...but Mr. Tranter defeated him every time. He actually gives a crap about the cases...he also worked wonders for a friend of mine on a custody case. His rates are about the same as all the others, but he is well worth it. Good luck...the system is messed up and it really does require a good attorney to get anything accomplished. Oh also he will work with you on making payments, which most don't.

David Marshall from what I hear no longer does family court and well I've seen john Reynolds in action I dont know that Id waste the money. I have an attorney out of Lexington to be honest I'm going to stick with him because frankly if nothing else he can have my case moved one county up. Plus he's a very good attorney. To go after custody it is wise to have all of your ducks in a row. No extra house guest! ;-) just a bit of advice. Especially not those that dont work cant take care of their own child and stay messed up.

All lawyers cost been thru all that. I moved to another county not one that I talked to could move my case into another county , for child support and especially custody. Was even told by lawyers and courts in the county I moved to, that it's where the children live not where I live, and if the case has been closed you better do better than having your ducks in a row!

I know a lawyer who is the greatest barrister in the county. He is a southern gentleman and cares about justice. He also frequently does the case for free. I see his commercials on tv everyday. They are kinda long but interesting. I think his name is Ben Matlock. You should call him.

John Reynolds is a fantastic lawyer. I have been dealing with my ex over my children for child-support and other family court issues for years now. He tells you up front what he can do and what you should do. He does care about his clients, and he can be hard to get a hold of but that's expected from as many cases as he handles. I would recommend him 100 percent.
