sex bracelets

My six year old first grader just asked me mom do you have a sex bracelet? Im livid although i dont know much about them i do know its not appropriate for a first grader to wear them and to discuss them with other Kids wtf is going on we didnt have sex bracelets at the age of six or anyother age i have no idea how to explain to my son why he cant wear a sex bracelet hell he doesnt even know what sex means ugh im putting a call in to his school first thing in the morning

What do they look like? My little sis has been wearing these bracelets and she said some friends from school gave them to her.

I think they are the gummy or rubbery plastic multie color bracelets ive seen some kids wear them but not any first graders this is a little outrageous i think

yes my daughter's friend told me about them she is in fourth grade but 10 and has friends in middle school perhaps where she learned it? I think it was on an old George Lopez episode ANd YEs they also have the ones shaped like different things but the regular plastic ones are suppose to stand for different things which if you are a parent n have girls even in middle school you better step up and let me know how out right stupid it is to just give anything like that up especially so young or is nicholasville all hell bent on their children having children and just shacking up by the time they are 14 or 15?

pardon you should let YOUR children KNOW cause it is NOT cute for a 12 or even 14 year old to have sex and 99 percent of the time it's someone using her but if you raise your kids to wear it's the "thing" to do and makes you who you are because you have a boyfriend/girlfriend then I guess that's where they learn it from vs being valued for more than that. Let your kids know while they are still kids how valuable they are who they are so they don't feel like they have to give in to sexual pressure to "fit in" or get "love" and "approval"I think it's outride SAD when young girls try to be sexy while they are a kid not even yet old enough to drive yet are out messing with guys

I buy these for my kid all the time! Of course she matches them to her headband and clothing so I doubt she is playing the game. Anyway I researched it online and found an actual site with the color meanings and game rules!! I never would have dreamed this in a million years! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I will take them from her now!!!

you go Harley! When my son came home one day from middle school I noticed he had a girls hair bow around his wrist. When I questioned him he turned beat red. I noticed a bunch of the boys in school wearing them. Curious, I asked a male teacher who told me that they were given to the boys after being with a girl who gave them Blow Jobs. I about lost it. So being who I am, I asked my son who gave him a blow job. He looked at me with horror in his eyes. He studdered and said he didn't know what I meant. Of course, I told him what I knew. The funny part of the story, I guess its funny now, is that he is in his early 20's. He will be at our house with his girl friend and he will come in with her hair bow around his wrist and wink at me.

All I can say is watch your children and teach them the right way to go.

Lol yea i was a teenager once we all were but i look back and think im so glad i waited to do grown up stuff when i was actually grown up these parents dont take the time to talk to or pay attention to their kids look at the youth in this town its by far the worst generation yet we need to educate not turn a blind eye my son soaks everything up whatever happend to being a good role model for the little kids he looks up to the 4th & 5th graders who look up to the middle schoolers who look up to the teenagers who look up to the adylts in their lives i try to live by example and teach my children how to live a productive succesful life i just feel bad for some of the kids i see these parents need a big wake up call

You misunderstand. It was a joke between grown ups at this time. Fortunatley for me, my son and I are adults. I don't want to know what he does and he doesn't tell me. It was his way of telling me what I thought I knew from the past was correct. FYI, He and his girl friend just had came in from running and she handed him her hair bow and he put it on his arm. Don't judge without knowing a complete story.
