I think some people forget that some people give themselves "extra" time on breaks. I've seen some NASRS make a 15 minute break into 30, usually on facebook. I personally hardly ever use the computers unless I'm doing my time sheet. Even before the cell phone problems, cell phones weren't supposed to be on the floors at all and only on the ground floor. Although most people didn't follow that rule. Also, night shift charge nurses ARE looking for cell phones. At one point last week, someone heard a phone going off and the charge nurse called everyones phone in hopes of hearing it again and giving that person disciplinary action.

I miss those guys oh and I can't forget about all the name calling they do... Lol My favorite Unit was Roosevelt.. I know when I was there back in 2002 there were days we just could not catch up so we stayed over to finnish so the next shift didn't have to take that load too... Them was the good days. I understand how you loved your job. Everybody there had 5or more years of service in b/c there wasn't much turn over. Honey since 2005, you could not understand the problems or how it is now. Not just saying that it is true. It not the same. I know what your talking about. Never thought in a million years I would leave there either. But, I hate it.

I would still like to know, how is it that you have a job there. WHY aren't the supervisors or some type of management controlling the computers on personal use and company time??????????the employees bound not to have hours for either lunch or breaks.... someone needs to step up to the plate and do their job.

This is all over one aimmature girl that worked at THVC about 2 years ago. She abused the cell phone policy and caused the rest of the building to lose privalges. She is no longer a employee. It is in your on heart to do what God wants you to do. He has the power over everyone in the end. Every workplace has drama, and lazy people. If your no longer a employee at thvc. Then we are not your concern. And apparently you lost your job. So therefore if you want state in on this, I suggest everyone stop.

amen......i heard the same thing. If you have lost your job, find a new one. You must have not been pulling your load, being sick is fine. But not taking care of your residents, and being lazy is not!! So all you people trying to get our place upset...grow up!! We care about our residents and I love being a LPN! I love all my NASRS we deserve respect!

Really? well maybe the company should pay more attention to the employees, because it is obvious that the employees have more time on their hands than their "breaks". Or they wouldn't hvae time to sit and play games and so forth on their facebook page. My information is VERY much so correct. I know an emplyee that works there and it shows on their facebook page, what time they play the games and so forth. It isn't a young person either. Evidentally the cell phones haven't been banned UNLESS it has been done so within the last week or so. It may be a good place to work I never said it wasn't. So why are you coming out so jumpy the people you are saying are on facebook probaly just logged on before work and didn't turn the I.P. off you stupid ass .The majority of people over there have to work hard and your lazy ass sits at home jealous because your scumy ass boyfriend won't let you work affraid your fat ugly ass might find somebody else and do the same thing he is doing, fucking any scumbag that will lay down with them.

if you are so worried about THVC why the hell don't you go over there and be a volunteer? maybe you can tell those folks how to get more out the workers or you can be the internet police.Oh heres why you are a lazy fatass that just wants to sit home and type on your stupid computer you fatass cow you wouldn't work at a pie factory! mind your own business and you won't be minding mine.

Any place that has their own staff development center should be a warning to everyone who works there.

Of course LPN's and RN's would know nothing of the subject I'm talking about. NASR's get hurt all the time because of many things like under staffing, putting insubordinate young NASR's who could care less about the job with older NASR's who end up hurt and out of work because they cannot lift anything ever again.

Thomson Hood admin. then forces you to quit because you can't lift. They don't care that your injury has knocked your ass into poverty. It is a very dangerous place to work. Worker's comp in KY sucks as well, because the Commonwealth of Kentucky is an employer so they write the workers comp laws. They have covered their backside to be sure.

It is a rotating door of chew you up and spit you out then hire another grunt to do some heavy lifting.
