it was the pawn shop right in front of the jail. the discounted food place is right behind it. the guy was caught selling weed from it and they closed it down. i heard the people who had things pawned last everything. i think someone new owns it now. and the guy is going to court. its only been in the journal a couple of times.

no they didnt shut it down and no he wasent selling any drugs out of it, people like to run their mouth in this town when they dont know shit. the same guy owns it and runs it no one lost anything there except the theifs that tried to sell hot shit there. i was in there yesterday. and its called pops pawn, they are real nice people and it will come out when they go to court. so everyone needs to learn how to mind their on bussiness, talk about your familys and then that will keep you busy for a while.

I've heard the guy got into trouble for selling drugs but not from the pawn shop. I'm not using his name and honestly I don't like him personally (known him for years) but I've seem some great deals at his shop and I sold some crappy gold that I had and got twice as much as the other two pawn shops offered.

I know some people who eye witnessed the account... supposedly they only found a small amount in his shop, but more in his house. It was bein mailed, the guy asked the judge to keep his license until the trial was over (Innocent until proven guilty) and so it was allowed. Supposedy frm someone who speaks with them the brother opted out of the plea deal and got some time frm it today...... okay that what I was told frm a 3rd party, not saying if its true or not, but the person is quite trustworthy...... either way it doesnt mean their business wasnt good, or that they were "bad" people. Most of the time people like this are "socials" so im sure this guy is nice, and probably a good man....

No, there wasn't anything found at the pawn shop or at his house nor was he selling it. People need to stop gossiping over stuff they know nothing about! Stay out of peoples business! Get a life!!!

You are right, he is a nice guy. Pawn shops get hooked all the time by thieves who try to pawn stolen goods.

it was a drug bust and alot too i have a jessamine journal clipping of it and yes it was at pops pawn across from jail two men arrested for it one was owner of pops pawn and other was a foreign man from texas wich was suspected to be the main cartel carrier amounts of marijuana was belived to be around 600 ibs wich is why its a federal thing now one of the men were bailed out right after arrest with a huge bail.... yes pops pawn is still in business and they are great people but they didnt get to dispose of it before cops raided them cops were smart to wait till the big guy came to get it so they could get him too
and im sure they will get outta the trouble cause they have shit loads of money and god does our county love big pay outs to hush hush

FYI: ALL pawnshops will take in stolen goods at some point, b/c there is NO way to tell it is stolen. They don't get in trouble for this at all, they just lose all the money they loaned out until the suspect is proven guilty and they pay restitution.
And they prolly gave you more for your gold b/c they were new. New pawn shops need stock to sell-badly-so they pay more.
Wouldnt u like to know
