There used to be an old white haunted house in a grove of trees just off the bypass where they're building the new St.Joseph.

Went there a few times, I know alot of people my age that did.

The house Im talking about faces Highway 27 and it is falling apart now. When we lived there we would hear people upstairs when we knew noone was up there. We also heard voices which was very freaky. Someone told me that there was a man and woman here in Nicholasville who investigates places like this and that they stopped by that old house one night. They supposedly have pics and video footage of orbs and a man floating by the window upstairs. Im trying to find their website but havent had any luck yet.

oh shit I remember that place.... I had heard that a man built/ bought it for his wife but then she left him, so it just sat there empty, and he refused to sell it or live in it... or maybe the wife had died and he didn't want anyone else to ever live in it again? something like that....

mama sharon, I would love to meet up with some ppl who do investigations... We want to start investigating and have some equipment... but are kind of at a loss for places to check out. We have been to camp nelson, but that's about it. I do know the house you are talking about though... I remember just a few years ago it was just a normal looking house, and now it's terrible looking, it seems to have happened very quickly. When I was younger, some people lived there that rode my school bus.

The people that own that old house took all the siding off and weather has taken a tole on it. I could write a book on that place. My kids were allways telling me about things they had seen or heard. Creepy stuff. I also know about the house they tore down by the new St.Joe Hospital, it was a very spooky place. Not a place you wanted to be in......

When we went to Camp Nelson, we didn't sneak in, we went on a tour with some friends of a friend who are ghost hunters, and we had permission and everything. We asked the caretakers if it would be okay for us to come back another night, and they told us that it would be fine. When we actually decided to go a few months later, we pulled into the parking lot only to find a guy standing there with a shotgun. Needless to say, we pussed out and left.

I'm not a cgh, but I would loooooove to be!!! I have had a hard time finding classes besides Patti Starr's which are too expensive for me... Hopefully I will be able to get certified this year sometime though. I know Starr and Jessi Chaney used to have certification classes, but they have not updated their site in quite a while so I'm not sure if they're still doing it or not.

I use to live in the haunted house on danville rd and I could tell you some things that would creep you out. Im currently really interested in a place called waverly manor. It is an old sanitarium in Louisville. Taps has investigated it, and they do have tours. I am currently pregnant and cant safely go check it out, but here in about 3 months Im going to call and book a tour. They have a web site you should google it.

there are some colleges that have programs that teach paranormal sciences, I dont know which ones but you may want to look into it. You may be able to get assistance to go.

I know there is a house that sits on catnip hill on the right and you can't see it from the road and it has a locked gate on it because it belongs to Altech but they say its haunted
