Is this the place that hires pill heads to sell meat door to door? They advertise for help on craigs list.

Really? I thought they were alright. They're meat was good.. If they were pill heads they fooled me. The guy who sold to me looked clean cut, and I have seen some pretty bad pill heads around here.

I don't trust them. The guy got real defensive when I asked questions such as "is this organic?" When I pointed out that the brochure did not mention "no antibiotics", he practically snatched it out of my hand and took off saying, "I have to keep that. We don't get many of them. Yeah, call the company."
Not professional at all. Would rather spend a little more to buy my meat at a local Co-op or grocery!!

Don't expect "organic" unless the food is marked as being "organic". If the brochure did not claim that the food was "organic" or the guy did not tell you that it was "organic", why would you expect it to be? Are you mentally-challenged?

Besides, "organic" just means vegetables with bugs & poop ("natural fertilizer" is simply "poop") on them, and with "organic" meat, it means that it's from scrawny, undersized, diseased animals and is real gristly and overpriced.

You people make me sick! You sit back and talk about people who go to work every day, come rain or shine. At least they are working and it is none of you nosy people's concern what they do with their money. I know a lot of them have problems, but what are you doing? Tell us about your great Job. Your great Family. Your great House, that "YOU OWN" or at least paying for. Tell us about what you spend your money on. Get real people you probley don't have two nickels to rub together most of the time, "because of your problems", and yes I know I miss spelled a word, but for the life of me I couldn't remember how to spell it. lol. So go ahead and bash me for that. I can take it.

Wow. You call others idiots?? Obviously, you have not had organic meat or produce. You should try it, it's well worth the small price increase. All the hormones, antibiotics and other chemicals from your food have damaged your few remaining brain cells. Go eat another twinkie, dear.

Well, I just bought a box of the Top Sirloin patties. I'm a sucker who hates turning people away. I paid $31.50 for the box - no idea how much it actually weighs. But it seemed to be at least 6lbs of meat in there, so that's not too bad a price.

He claimed it was all organic and hormone free, but the brochure he left doesn't say that at all. And then I noticed that the box had a label on the side from Illinois...so, I guess it's not really from Nicholasville like he claimed?

That's kinda shady. Whatever, if it tastes good, it's fine.

The guy who tried to sell to me claimed that he had some extra steaks available. I have no idea why they were considered "extra". He also claimed that they were organic and Angus beef. I never saw a brochure so I don't know what it would have said. I imagine if it really were organic they would advertise it that way. They don't even seem to have a website where you can find out more about the company. I did notice that they have been in business less than a year and had 2 complaints filed against them.

The truck was scouting through the neighborhood here. I was sitting in my recliner not even looking at them, when the van stops guy gets out comes up to my door and tries to get me to buy some steaks. I say no and he's like I've got an awesome deal. I was like no thanks again and he just kept persisting, I finally closed the door in his face and he finallly left.

We had someone stop by while we were in our garage. I told him we had no freezer space, which was true. He mentioned some families that he had sold to, but I didn't recognize any of the names. He asked our name. I guess so he could use our name in his list of names to our neighbors, to say he sold to us. He left a very generic flyer, but it doesn't say anything about organic. Sorry, I don't trust them.

Its funny how all you people on here say how people should work. Then you talk about men and women who get up 6 days a week at 630 don't get home until 8 to 10 at night. Pay there own bills. These guys are like any other door to door salesman. Give them a break let them do there job. Their meat is good. But if you don't like it. Why get on here ans slander them.At least they are at work while you are on here bashing them.

I asked for a copy of the brochure and was denied because it was the salespersons last one. Also the "variety pack" weighed 35 lbs. but I never got an answer if that included the 5 cardboard boxes that incased each type of meat that was inside of another cardboard box that held all the boxes or if it was just the weight of the meat.I also asked what was the weight of certain individual steaks. He said "We don't weigh them." So I decided to pass since I really did't know what I was getting for my money. Although the cuts of meat I was shown looked good, I was skeptical of the weight/size of the steaks and whether it was worth it.

ok, so i slipped up and bought some sh!t meat from a guy named Billy from Butcher's Pride. I know,i know im a dumbass.fully aware of this. The meat did look decent in its frozen state. Thawed was a different story. Hazy grey, mushy, swimming in an erie liquid they use to inject into the meat. This meat is not suitable for human consumption. His sales tactic was high pressure and i had just woke up. Got caught off guard and it won't happen again.I threw all the crap away. If that bastard knocks on my door again,he's getting a sub-standard t-bone shoved down his hillbilly throat.
