Really, you are boring. People like you are not liked very well. No friends? I bet you don't even have one. If you act this way in person and I bet you do.I don't know you and yet I don't like you. You are a jerk. Get lost.

Here is the thing, Clearly private school does not teach you manners, or you are just a bad student. Yes, grammar is bad. However, no one gives a damn in this post. You do not have anything to do with this topic. If you think public school students are such idiots. You probably shouldn't go to any doctor, pharmacist, lawyer, or any other professional. Chances are, they went to a public school and maybe even a public college. You my friend, are a waste of space. You sit behind a computer and correct grammar. Maybe, you and your smarts should be doing something more productive with your time.
This isnt an academic essay a resume or a professional situation so i dont have to use grammar if i dont want to because no one except losers like you are grading me. You make no impression on what job i get or how i speak with professional beings. this is a gossip site, SLANG is used. Do you know what slang is Mr./Mrs. Perfect Grammar? Get off your high horse, and learn to loosen up a little bit.

Sorry, but I agree with Private School. The spelling and grammar on here is atrocious! It just reinforces the "dumb, uneducated, welfare trash" stereotype so many people have about Kentuckians. It also shows just how awful the public schools are!!

So, do you speak with proper grammar with your friends? Every text you send to your friend is proper English? You never use slang? Everyone one in America uses slang. In a professional situation we turn on our proper professional tongue and body language. When we are with our friends or in an unprofessional situation we use slang and body language that is casual. This isn't just Kentucky. It is everywhere. I know a lot of people that speak so hick you would think they were uneducated, backwoods, nobodies. But when they write an academic paper, they would put both you and private school to shame. When they speak to their teachers, it is with the utmost respect and professionalism. Once again, this is a gossip site, not an academic website.

Yes, I always use proper grammar no matter who I am speaking with. I also text using proper English. I never said I didn't have a country accent, but I speak properly. I know the difference between "want" and "won't". I know the difference between "thank" and "think". I even know the proper times to say "seen" and "saw" and the difference between "peace" and "piece" and "since" and "sense". It must be because I too went to private school ....as did my children. As far as slang goes, I do say y'all. Does that count?

I went to a public school. I know the difference between your, you're, its, it's, etc. It has NOTHING to do with private or public. It is how the student absorbs the information. Technically, wouldn't, couldn't, hadn't, didn't, etc is not proper English. I went to East. I graduated from East. Just because not everyone retains it, does not mean that it was not taught. It also has a lot to do with parents. If the parents care less about what their children's life is like, what they are learning in school and depend on the teachers to not only teach curriculum but also teach discipline, respect and responsibility. Children need to know these things before they come to the class room. So the the teachers can spend more time focusing on the subject. Parents have become lazy and now teachers are teaching more than they can possibly handle.
