Procter & Gamble, Warner Chilcott, Aventis and Norwich Pharmaceuticals should take the drug Actonel off of the market. It almost killed me. Since taking Actonel 35mg I have had two surgeries at two different times on my esophagus. My throat closed up. I could not even swallow my own spit. And on another occasion I was hospitalized for over a week from black tarry bloody diarrhea stools from my rectum. There were times that nothing, but blood came out of my rectum. I had to receive two bags of blood on different occasions. Not to mention severe body pain and a quoted, from a doctor, I had all the ulcers that Actonel causes unquoted. I had and have ongoing muscles and body pain. I read that Actonel can stay in your system for up to 10 or more years. And to think I was sent an $800.00 check for my out of pocket expenses, which was more than $800.00. My out of pocket expenses was $1,054.00, which includes purchasing Actonel on a monthly basic, emergency rooms visits, ambulances rides and doctor visits. Since I couldn't drive myself at the time, because of what Actonel had done to me, I had to pay out of my pocket for transportation/gas, and food, to people. My insurance company/blue cross at the time paid out $1,515.70,$3,146.30 and $19,567.95 which came to a total of $25,963.00, not including what I paid out of my pocket. I told Mr. Rocco Rotello that I was open to a compensation offer for my pain and suffering. Mr. Rocco Rotello told me that they don't pay for pain and suffering. That was a lie. After giving me the runner round he final sent the $800.00, which was not agreed on by me. I told him I will go from there after I receive the check. He said that the $800.00 was a jester. After receiving the check, I talked to his boss, Mr. Galen Ruschnan he asked me did I sign anything. I told him no. As of right now I have a rash that comes and goes. Each break out is painful than the one before it. Since then my doctor has taken be off of Actonel. Since then I have gone to different web sites and read what Actonel has done to other people and there are many injuries. This has got to stop. I sent him all my doctor information, a statement as to what happen and the total (proof) of my medical bills that Mr. Rocco Rotello asked for. But they didn't keep their word. Never once have they checked up on me. I am now a risk factor for cancer of the esophagus. I was a guinea pig for the drug Actonel 35mg/Risedronate that caused me to have very serious life threatening adverse side effects. Everything that Procter & Gamble told me and I told them, are in the letter that needed to be read by the public. There are plenty in the letter that not only concerns my health, but need to be read again I say by the consumers. In September 2009, I wrote Mr. Robert Mc Donald, Mr. Alan Lafly, Mr. Boissonneault/Warner Chilcott, Sanofi-Aventis, and even Mr. Rocco Rotello and others to inform them of this matter. I never heard back from them. But each of the postal return receipts came back signed. Therefore Procter & Gamble leaves me no choice but to put my video on you tube so that it will be known how dangerous of a drug Actonel 35mg is. The video will show a copy of the check, copy of the Procter & Gamble letter that was sent to me and my letter of 29 pages stating in details what happen to me, and the talked about phone conversation that I had with Procter & Gamble Employees. Namely, Mr Rocco Rotello, and Mr. Galen Ruschnan.

Procter & Gamble and Brenda Kidd:
Unlike Pampers, why cant Procter & Gamble just sit down with Brenda Kidd and talk about her Actonel adverse side effect injuries. This has been going on way to long.

Thank you for contacting me and for the recommendation. I am just about finish with the FDA form. Once the FDA receives the form with my information on it, I will post the results, as soon as I hear, back from them. And I will keep my health history with me when or If, I go to a new physician. Again I say, "thank you." And...you are right, Procter and Gamble Pharmaceutical, who formally owned Actonel at the time of my injuries, did not admitted fault. I feel like they never would have sent me the $800.00 dollars check, which did not cover my total out of pocket expenses, if they felt like Actonel 35 mg did not cause my adverse side effects, even though the check was prolonged. And of course they not only owe me, they owe Blue cross, too. I just thank God, because what happen to me could have easily become fatal. I know Procter and Gamble has Sued, other Pharmaceuticals companies for infringements and won. Actually, Procter and Gamble Pharmaceutical was sued for $10,000,000 dollars for going in a pharmaceutical company trash and stealing there information. Now Procter and Gamble is the same company that put people like me life in danger by selling the dangerous drug, namely Actonel 35mg taken once a week. If you go through someone else's trash to help you gain maybe millions or more, you have stoop to an all time low. Meaning you are dirty and can't be trusted.
Love you, Helpfulness.

Procter and Gamble and the Bleeding from the Rectum
To: The Public: Procter and Gamble and Brenda Kidd
I found out on a web site that someone else has had one of the same problems, as I had with Actonel, which could have led to be a fatal adverse side effect. The lady son said that he would be contacting Procter & Gamble. He was also going to look into taking legal actions. His mother came very close to dying. She vomited blood and bled from her rectum. She received 7 units of blood. She had a huge bleeding ulcer in her stomach. She spent 1 week in the hospital. The comment had been written on the 12/02/2005, which was before I had the same dangerous, adverse side effect from taking Actonel. I was hospitalized for 8 days/bleeding from the Rectum/black tarry stools/diarrhea with running blood.
So, now I know that Procter and Gamble already knew about the adverse side effect from Actonel (bleeding from the rectum) that I had, not to mention (blood in my urine) and all of my other adverse side effects. Just think how many more people are out there who have had or are bleeding now, from the rectum because of Actonel and Procter & Gamble Pharmaceutical.
If you want to read about the man and his mother, go to the number 1 web-site below. Once there you can read what the lady son had to say about Procter and Gamble/Actonel and what others had to say, too. The man comment was before they sold the Pharmaceutical Company. And all of my dangerous adverse side effects were before they sold the Pharmaceutical Company.
Web-sites to check out:
1. Actonel-The Internet Drug Database
2. Actonel-Patient Comments-The Internet Drug Database
There are more web sites, too. I will post them later. Maybe you all will check them out, too.
Remember you all, before getting off any medication, talk to your doctor. But, at the same time, don't allow him to make you continued to take Actonel. Your body belongs to you, not your doctor, and you can say no to your doctor. After waking up from sedation from having emergency esophagogastroduodenoscopy surgery, I was told by my doctor to stop taking Actonel. He also wrote it down in my medical records that I was to stop taking Actonel and he told my family as well. Of course Procter and Gamble has a copy of my doctor findings/my records.
