And that is why the United States Postal Service is swimming in red ink. That was the same deal developers/property managers struck with them - we'll build the building and you pay for it. And pay for it. And you pay for it.

Good gravy - this town still hasn't recuperated from Dom and the crew he housed. But on the other hand - help will be close by for whoever decided we needed a 6 foot wide sidewalk (which eliminated what parking there was on the lakeside of 20) at the 3rd Street Plaza - which was supposed to have some retail. Retail and no parking - what could possibly go wrong.

"...mental health's second largest cliental group is located in the Lucerne/Nice area. "

Yea... that's only the ones who will go willingly. What about the psycho, NPD felons running who have "no problems at all" according to them. Sheesh.

Ummm...its like 1 out of 4 people have some sort of mental illness. You think NOT having a clinic will help that? Or maybe you would rather see a bar or another restaurant?
It's time to face facts. We live in county where the cost of living is low enough for people on SSI to live decently. A lot of those people may seem like scum to you, or a "blight". But they are people too. I think everyone deserves to live a decent life, regardless if they enjoy showering or new clothes :)
Just saying....
