Yep! Good old Castaic scales. Was taking a flatbed load of steel beams for a freeway job in Fresno. I told my boss I didn't have a headache rack on my tractor before I hooked up and he says "you'll be OK." I called him from Castaic and said "Guess What?". They let me leave the scales with the load and gave the ticket to my company. I soon as I got back to Fontana our shop put a nice shiny rack on my truck. I think the ticket cost the company about $170.

Hey Low. My Ol' Lady saw my message to you about " Where my next Piece" was coming from and like the nice person she is, told me to "Grow up"... Ha Ha. Anyway, I Love those Sausage sandwiches. Just the way you described them. Except I like my mushrooms grilling off to the side while I'm lookin' for my next "Piece Of Ass". Yours Truly, Blindway.

Blindway: I saw you referred to yourself as "Dirty D*ck" a while back in an earlier post. I worked with a guy a few years ago who told me he rode in thethe big club in the 60's and 70's even into the 80's. He also said his nickname was that name. Wondering if he is full of that stuff that comes out the business end of the bull. Said he was a "good" friend of the Tramp back then. I always thought maybe he was a little goofy but who knows. Wondering if you ever heard of any others with the nickname?

Yes. There have been quite a few people named " Dirty Dick " over the years. I think most got the name Dick because of the first name Richard, like myself. Also, I get a little ' Goofy ' on here. Especially when I've had a couple of cocktails. Take care. BW

Absolutely Low. A lot of rattling in the push-rods. Got to pull off to the side and make some adjustments......Ok, I'm off to the side of the road adjusting these solid lifters. No margin for error with solids, but you do have a little room with hydraulics. You Know That. Hey, I was pretty messed up the other night. HeHaw is probably still waiting for that Beer in Paradise {Butte county}. Would have made the 7 hour trip, but only made it to the end of my driveway. Study hard Low. BW.

Well that's Funnier than Hell. Sometime I will tell you a three wheeler story from the late '60's. "Insane" Ed Stewart and his Sportster /Trike. I think our old amigo Leon new crazy Ed from Sacto. Blind. P.S., will tell you how it was set up since you cannot put a Sporty motor in a 45' trike frame. Drove his trike to his folks house onetime when Ed got thrown in jail. I sideswiped a couple cars on the way and clipped a couple curbs making right turns. Simple design. You'll like it. Now I'm done.
