"The male relative, a teenager, also was charged, but information about him was not available because he is considered a youthful offender"

Why isn't he being charged as an adult? He brought a ski mask, he brought a 16 inch knife, and he stabbed the man. Any 8 year old is smart enough to know stabbing someone is wrong and this was a planned home invasion.

She brought with her a male relative who stabbed a partially blind man in the hand?

If this isn't a flagrant example of a case that deserves a public whipping, as would certainly have been the case in the days of the 'archaic' Puritans, I don't know what is.

I believe that the man did invite her for sex. If the guy did nothing but ask who was there then why would he have stabbed him? The guy must have done something to make him stabbed him in the arm. I the man from West Hartford is lying about something.

He decided to invite her over, but he told her that he could not pick her up because he is partially blind. He agreed to pay for a taxi to bring her to his apartment, he told police.

If he invited her then why is she getting charged for home invasion?

is there evidence that they stoled something from his house?

The victim should have had a ski mask handy. He could have whipped it on at the first sign of trouble "...for protection..."

Really, you can't figure this out? She brought along a male relative with a ski mask and a 16 inch knife and stabbed him within 5 minutes of being dropped off by the taxi. Her only intent was to rob this man. And because he was disabled, she thought he was an easy target. It was premeditated robbery with an accomplish. No invited the relative along.

Kill them both slowly. Scum, scum, scum. Like I need this crap in my neighborhood. Sounds like a robbery and a murder that the two buffoons failed to pull off. No dep thinking needed, dig a ditch, kneel them down, pow, pow! End of story but it has a happy ending.

"stoled"? She and her male companion stole his civil rights when they tried to rob and kill him. This woman and her partner's acts are indefensible. Of course, the state will provide a lawyer to defend them. That's their civil right. I hope true justice is dispensed. For the record, the male companion needs to be tried as an adult.

It only takes a Puerto Rican four minutes to decide whether he's going to stab you. Ricans make stupid decisions that screw up their lives and others lives in the blink of an eye. That's why they're so dangerous to society. They don't think like normal people, because they have nothing to lose. It's all provided to them. If I stabbed someone, I would lose my job, car, apartment and my credit would be ruined. But for a Rican, all that stuff is given to them by the government. And nothing that they do will stop people from giving them free housing, food etc. It's a disgrace. We've got P.R.s turning public housing into a scene from Mad Max. And when they're arrested for violent crimes, the idiots who work for D.S.S. can't bring themselves to terms with the reality they have created. So the cycle continues.
Not only are you a moron, you are a racist moron. That's a double whammy.

About the whole puerto rican thing. Don't you know that the superior court judge is puerto rican??...you talkin so much shit but yet again when you hear about a serial killer all of them are middle aged white males!. What do you gotta say about that. No matter what race a person is all americans receive help from the goverment. If you don't like puerto ricans than you are in the wrong country!..remember this is a free country!. About the whole bristol woman thing yeah it was extremely wrong what she did and she should be charged to the full extent.

Well, I honestly spent time in YCI with this girl and she was my bunkee for 2 weeks. Her personal account is different from what the "facts" say in the paper/news. For everyone that believes everything they read, it's a shame that you all feed off of false information. I think any girl or person for that matter can make a wrong judgement in meeting an individual for the first time no matter their status, handicap or not. When things go wrong and you feel sexually assaulted and can't do anything but defend yourself and try to flee, you make last minute decisions to fight off the predator. If only the real story got out from the "horse's mouth", people would see this whole situation in a different light. She is a good person who not only takes care of individuals but is raising a child on her own. People don't know her and are so quick to believe this false bullshit the papers wrote about her. Until her words are heard from her mouth, no one will truely understand what really happen. The handicap man is the guilty one people. By the way, look up his record and you will find that he was guilty on sexually exploiting and assaulting another young female, which his bullshit "partically blind" excuse didn't work in. Get your facts right people.
