Why would a landlord let him go for so long without paying. When I owned property in the city,(and thank the good lord I do not anymore), after the first week past due and the first lie out of their mouth when it would be paid and wasn't; I evicted them. My philosophy was..."when their problems became mine, it was time for them to go"...plain and simple. No pay, no stay. You have to play hardball when you are a landlord in a 'sh.it hole' of a city like Niagara Falls.....
