Yet ANOTHER case of a girl shacking up with a guy and bad things happening, causing our tax dollars to fund ANOTHER case of domestic violence investigation.

A young woman literally embarking on a brilliant career. Dead, at the hands of a world-class sociopath. No conscience. So full of himself, he even thinks he's in charge of when her body is removed.

Beware young and older women: sociopaths look, smell, converse and behave wonderfully. They're too good to be true - total charmers.

Thank you to the Herald-Mail for a respectable report on this heinous crime that has happened to yet, another female victim.

Condolences to her entire family, co-workers and friends.

I hope someone from her professional realm fights hard for justice on her behalf.

I wondered why the officials were on it so fast. I'm glad they were, but they should be that expedient for all other crime victims. Then again, it wasn't in Franklin County.

He's a worthless dirtbag who didn't even deserve a girlfriend let alone someone wonderful like her. He should receive the death sentence with torture beforehand. A loser like that deserves no less.

Actually, I think the information of her employment as an attorney does offer a significant element to this story. According to the pennlive report, she handled domestic violence cases, so she had to be well-aware of the warning signs. And yet, sadly, she became a victim of domestic violence herself. My heart goes out to her family as they deal with another loss (her mother earlier this year, according to the report) as well as to the family of Mr. Cartwright, who probably never dreamed this kind of thing would happen.

Thanks for the info, gomer. Now, back to your cabin in the hollow.

As Janie says below, her occupation is a vital part of this story.

Sadly there are no warning signs in some of the cases until something like this happens.

Not likely - Judge Cohick (unlike others) knows what she's doing and denied bail accordingly. Furthermore, this lowlife was charged with Homicide, the Jones case I believe yielded a charge of Manslaughter (there is a difference).

I swear this guy looks almost identical to the Garner dude who tried to strangle his 'best friend'. At first I thought they accidentally posted the wrong picture. Weird.
