What is about Shippensburg? They're always in the news. I'm glad I don't live there and I pity the cops that have to deal with that town.

Big green trashcan -- like IESI's? They "stole" every trash container from my road a few weeks ago. I called to find out why and it turned out someone thought that all of us had been cancelled and picked up all the receptacles after they had been emptied. Don't call the police, call your refuse provider.

Oh Yes, please inform the potentially intoxicated bar flies that DUI checkpoints will be set up this month! Sure you don't want to give locations too?

Why is Shippensburg always in the news? Perhaps because the police here ARE doing their job unlike Chambersburg that seems to have run amuck in crime.. I lived in Chambersburg till 2001 and it was a much more peaceful town than it is today. Even with the University here, Shippensburg is a peaceful town.. Now don't you all come running here to live, keep your funky tail feathers down there!:-)
