Sure sounds like the establishment clause of the 1st amendment is being overlooked here.

This group can do whatever they want, where ever, but the park managers shouldnt be involved.

Not sure if its just the headline, but it sure sounds like an endorsement from the state.

Oh give it a break!!

The 1st Ammendment is in place to keep the govt from telling us we have to follow a certain religion and that's it!!

This event is not sponsored by the state or any of it's departments and what you're saying is that ANY and ALL government officials should be banned from attending any religious event??!!

I'm sure Jesus will show up. He will also bring potatoe salad and 5 small fishes and 3 loaves of bread. But most of all, he will turn the lake into wine. And that's when the fun begins!! Yea Jesus!

Maybe it's because people were speculating and making accusations on the cause of the fire - which is shaky legal ground. The PO rarely cuts off comments and when they do, I think it's for good reason: because of idiots.

I think you're missing the point there... since dirty old men like to use God for their own sinister purposes. How about we just teach kids to be good, decent people without fear of damnation and judgement? You know, being a good person because it's the right thing to do, not because there is a punishment.

Tell me, what's up with all youth pastors having facial hair? Is there something about beards and goatees that lend credibility?
