Now that we have a lunatic socialist in office, I'm getting a carry permit and learning to use a SigPro. We may need firearms to protect ourselves from various and sundry violent foreign elements. I still won't wear it visibly though, LOL.

I really don't understand why Mr. Rotz, or anyone for that matter, needs to walking around with a gun? Franklin County is not the Wild West, and Chambersburg is not Dodge City! What is his job? Does he wear that gun there? You mean there are people in Wal-Mart or the Chambersburg Mall with guns? I really don't get it!
I have a permit to carry and yes in Walmart or the Mall......where ever I choose. Try reading your local paper. As a kid, my parents never locked our doors to the house or car. NOW.....you have to lock everything or you have some jerk that thinks he needs what you have worked for. People are breaking in houses and cars all the time anymore. And it doesnt matter what his job is.....he can still carry.

I think you all are a bunch of morons. Its pennsylvania for christs sake, not some war torn country where you people need protection constantly. why do you NEED to carry guns openly?... And people wonder how kids get their hands on guns so easily and blow away everyone in school. You people are stupid.

Lady knowledge save rights and life, ignorance kill in diferent ways and law breakers take advantage of ignorants. Learn about law and rights and teach you kids about firearms. In that way they don't feel curious and stopem before doing ignorant movements. Remember law officer are not in obligation of protect u. U are. And a safe gun owner have a safe house and don't left their gun unsafe.

Luis, your comment is slightly hard to decipher, but I do agree with what you're (trying) to say.

As to the person who doesn't think anyone needs to have a gun in the mall-within the last few days a jewelry store at the mall was involved in an armed robbery. What if those thugs would have decided they wanted to rob you too, and threaten to kill your family if you don't give them what they want? What if they wanted to abduct your children to use as hostages or to rape? Do you want them to have a chance of living, or are you ok with watching them die, because according to you, crime doesn't happen in the mall since you see no need to carry there.

And pussycat, do you truly think people in schools "are getting blown away" because others choose to carry their guns on their persons? Really? Are you capable of cognitive thought or do you just put a bunch of words together and hope it resembles a sentence?

And kudos to Mr. Rotz for knowing his rights, and refusing to back down when someone with power and a badge decided to abuse their power and make unlawful demands under false color of law.

Freakin' two year old thread...lol

And it's a License, not a "Permit" and the word "concealed" isn't on it, I just checked.
