The story sounds fishy to me, I'd have to know a lot more to make an accurate judgment call, but I think this may be one of the rare cases of abusing a cause.

Now your talking but you lost me when you said "rare cases of abusing a cause" as facts say "They fired me because I am gay" is one of the most abused scenarios there is.

Facts do not support your assertion. If he had been fired then I would have been more correct to state is seems he's been wronged. The reason I stated doubt was because he quit. The real facts are that most cases of discrimination are not brought to justice.

It also sounds a bit fishy to me, especially since it is happening in Connecticut and not some southern state. They probably wanted to save money by denying him tenure and he is looking for a way to get back at them.

I honor the first poster's opinion, but yours is gravely suspect because you *always* think they're lying. It is the antigay who are *endlessly* lying with just a few claims we could rehash here, but you know them well.

I mean, really, how would you go into a court of law and prove it's a "CHOICE"? In fact, while this is not known one way or the other, science -- which a court would hear before anything else, which ANY court would trust FIRST -- is of a firm, firm mind that this is categorically false, and would testify to as much in that very court of law.

There's also the possibility that the guy is just incompetent.
