This country has been going down the tube after Roe V Wade.If life has no value then what differance does it make if one kills dozens of people. An unborn baby has value and should not be killed just because the mother does not want to be bothered with having it.

Abortion is wrong, except in cases to save the life of the mother. In regards to "it's not the guns, it's the madman doing the killing"-military assault tifles help greatly to put the gunman into a position of extreme power; overwhelming; totally controlling power over others inwhich the gunman completely eliminates others; only those individuals properly armed and prepared for action have any real chance to fight back.

In addition to weapons, a school can be reenforced with steel plate and thick lexan windows and dead bolt locks on classroom doors.

With a mindset to protect the kids a lot can be done to prevent a madman from walking around a school to freely shoot kid and staff.

Failsafe, no but better than currently in place in many schools.

All that's needed is enough time to allow law enforcement to arrive, 5 mins or so.

When is society going to realize that legal chemical prescribed drugs are clearly creating the monster?

As much as I despise guns, are we going to have register our kitchen knives?

Has anyone considered that regulating meds, and the people who take them is the solution?

America is awash with mind altering drugs, starting with kids 5 or 6 years old. When I was young if you acted up in class you got your butt whipped .Now they give the kids some mind altering drug.

Bringing guns to school is not new.Back in the 50's kids would bring their shotguns on the bus so they could hunt after school. The teachers would raffle off guns to raise money for projects.I don't recall anyone getting shot however. Different world back then.

Yep, long beofre these mind altering drugs started being force fed to children... like I said .. guns dont cause people to want to go and kill.. chemicals do and they are legal and avialable and pushed on children.. some who cant even attend school unless medicated.. sheeesh

but lets keep turning a bling eye to the fact that this event was a classic example of what the pharmaceutical companuies state could happen...(lets blame guns and video games...so we can carry on drugging our babies and forget about parenting)

I agree but the docs need to be more educated. Many docs suggest these drugs as a means to deal with life in general..pain etc

I believe many docs are not versed in the effects of these drugs while on them, or coming off them...
