There are many who have no health insurance that have children worse off than this family. I suggest someone who has no insurance get your charity money.

Maybe the Ken Green Fundraisers will put that $$ to good use. Ken is a drunk, bully and a wife beater. He has had his day, let this kid have the money!

This is a very debilitating illness and my heart goes out to all those beautiful kids out there who strugle each day to do the things that you and I take for granted.

God bless all you generous folks out there that help out organisations that take care of these kids.

To the Hasselberger family; Please do not take to heart what some of these miserable souls have to say. They obviously have no happiness in their lives, and this pathetic forum is where they take out their frustrations over the joyless lives they have chosen for themselves at the expense of decent people like you. I am sure that many people care and will gladly help as they can. Best wishes to your family.

Wish you could meet Daniel, he would bring a smile to all of you faces. Even the nasty sad pathetic bunch of you that have nothing nice to say. I will happily send a check along with a big smile on it and say a prayer for the rest of you......hope to see you in church next week Daniel. Your friends in the front row

THANK YOU for saying this. This is a sick child we are talking about. How DARE the hateful people making such horrible comments judge his parents. Why does it bother you that this precious child has a new bedroom and bathroom? Are you all jealous?? I have a beautiful 14 yr old daughter and she has a new bedroom and bathroom. And you better believe if she became sick and I couldn't afford heath treatment to make her better I would do ANY THING I had to do to make her well. Thank God the majority of people have a heart and a soul and if $5 is all they have to give, they give it! Do anyone of you mean uncaring people realize God is watching. And whatever action we take we are paid back 7 times 7- good or evil. Please don't talk about this family. If you don't have something loving and supporting to say then just shut up. If your ignorance makes you feel like you have to talk about someone, simply look at your face in the mirror. That should keep you talking for awhile, you heartless bastards.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

If there is a medical bill which you cannot pay, provided that the care did not come from a PRIVATEly owned facility, You can always ask for help from the 'Hill Burton' foundation. All hospitals (not privately owned) have these applications in their business office. They wont TELL you about this source. You have to ASK.(In case you didn't know):'Hill Burton' was a wealthy man who had no relatives, no one to leave his fortune to, so, he left it to the Government, with a stipulation as to how it was to be spent: It is for those who have no other way to pay their medical bill! The bill CANNOT be owed to a privately owned facility (the money was not left to them). There is an 800 number for the Hill Burton Foundation. I hope this helps.

Hill Burton was not a person and the money for this program did not come from the private sector.
