County seeks option for Newton-Sparta Road project
Two weeks after the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders canceled the project -- citing last-minute environmental objections from Sparta and possibly having to repay around $530,000 to the federal government -- County Administrator John Eskilson said he made a phone call Wednesday to the agency with a key role in the process.

I hope the sussex county Freeholders figure out a way to get this done. The Newton town government is trying to be business friendly and bring decent jobs to the area (thorlabs, dell, springboard to promote small business). This improvement supports those goals and would be a nice improvement to the area.
