One can't help but wonder if this is not a fear of competition rather than a sudden case of moral consciousness?

What makes the people at Lake Mohawk think they can do what ever they want? Zoned for residential ? There is no zoning in Carroll County. Mohawk is not a incorporated community and can not legally pass zoning laws or any other law for that matter. It is a private gated area only because the people who live there want it that way and they pay dearly for it. How dumb are the Commissioners that signed the approval for the license in the first place. How dumb is the so called State or County inspector that said the site was sufficient and approved it? Voters, we need to clean house come election time. There are nothing but incompetents running Government and it's time for them to go. If the permit was approved in April 2013 and is only good for one year it should be up for renewal next month. One can only hope the idiots are not stupid enough to renew it. I don't think it has anything to do with competition just pure and simple stupidity.

What is the difference if the license is to her home or to some random piece of property, the purpose was to operate a delivery service to property owners. I highly doubt she wants foot traffic in her house. Get the license for a property outside of mohawk and merely store your backstock at home. But let us be honest, the issue here is not the children, (I am sure Brenda's grandchildren are more than used to the drunken, rude and obnoxious behavior) the issue is that it will hurts Rockys late night beer sale. They would rather drunken adults drive to their store late at night than lose a few beer sales.
