Inmates Registered to V
Newton- In Catawba County, 21 new voters were registered that are in jail. Twenty one new voters were registered assistance from the local NAACP and Sheriff David Huffman.

They can vote, but are not allowed any reading material. That will make for a very informed voting crowd. Mr. Huffman, it's time to look at your policy of not allowing any reading materials to people in your jail. These people are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. Guity people go to prison. You are helping to punish people for being poor. Rich people can afford to bail out. I hope someone in public office here in Catawba County has read the Constitution of The United States of America. You will find that what you are doing is wrong.
