The Wichita school district needs to be put under the microscope. Tons of excessive spending, and misuse of tax dollars. The district is very top heavy and not everyone needs an overpaid assistant, lets get more money into the classroom.

Virgil Peck is never one to be bothered by details.
He claims the 111 janitors have 48 bosses. But at every school I've ever attended and worked at, there is always a "head janitor" and then a couple others. The head janitor (I assume) is paid a little bit more, but the guy doesn't fit the typical definition of "boss." He doesn't sit around all day reading TPS reports. The head janitor at every school was just as likely to plunge a toilet as the other guys, but he was known as the head janitor because he was the smartest and most disciplined of the group. School after school, this was the way it worked.
But Virgil and others in our Legislature like to make every mole hill seem like a mountain of a problem.
