The boys ranch is a drain on taxpayers and always has been, the whole Department is mismanaged. Sedgwick County is one of only two Counties that has a separate Department if Corrections that is outside the County Sheriffs Department, it is flawed and can not be fixed. The head of Department is a joke as are many of the Department Managers, they ran SCYP into the ground. Parenting starts at home and that is where the problems are.
Stop dumping taxpayers money into these programs and hold the parents accountable.
