I'm curious as to why our new pool will not be an indoor pool considering theres not much for our children to do in winter months without having to travel 25-50 miles.. Also why is it going to take over 2 years to be complete

where is the new pool going to be located?

and have you been going to any of the meetings about the pool? that would be a good place to start to voice your opinion.

the pool is to be located at the park to the east of where the existing pool is n if could find out when meeting is would go

ok, you must be in Newton. You should call up the city hall and inquire about it, they'll be able to give you the name of who's in charge of the project and when the next meeting will be.

after traveling to larger cities, it amazing that small town Illinois can't put a pool inside a heated building. maybe it has to do with costs, who knows for sure. if it is costs, they could still have it open on weekends and holidays.
