Kinda funny that last night the vote was 3 to 1 to close Woodrow Wilson. So can they explain that? Along with the fact that Woodrow Wilson is the oldest and most worn down school in the district?

What is even more apalling is that the five men who voted to keep Woodrow Wilson open over Emerson Hough, which is a much nicer and larger school, we could not help notice that they all five live in the Woodrow Wilson area of town and three of the five have children who attend that school. Since they have personal ties to the school they should have hired an unbiased committee to make this decision, no my kids are losing the school that they love. The school board also held all of these meetings and held bus tours to look at the schools but in the end did not listen to anything that people commented on or questioned. What a travisty!!!

The were wrong on closing Emerson Hough. It has more potential than Woodrow, besides Woodrow's classrooms are smaller and they don't have an art room. They need to reconcider their decision.
