In the Spokanesman Review for Saturday September 23, 2003 page B2 it states that "Prosecutor, Jerry Wetle rules Officer, Travis Frizzell and Duputy John Bowers fired justifiably killing Donald L. Hobrecht"! Again it just seems stange! What happened, how it happened, times, and statement by all parties. This stange event does not seem justifiable to the family, friend and even a stanger who tried to help!

I am saddened by the events that happened. I knew Donald Hobrecht and his children for years. He never had a "screw loose" or any such thing. He was a good person with and amazing heart and a wonderful family. I personally feel things could have and should have happened differantly. He obviously was not a threat to anyone, mr and mrs wyrick were not afraid of him that should say something. Maybe itchy trigger fingers.

I just read the news paper article for the first time and it sure sounds like the police acted wrongly (made assumptions and jumped to conclusions) and murdered a scared citizen. I'd be interested to see a link to the follow up of the police investigation.

My dad was a truely amazing man and a hard worker, he was a single parent and raised 3 children on his own. He was by far the best grandpa any child could ask for! we miss him everyday. He was taken from us in an unjustifable way!! WHY? WHY? WHY? is my question!!! my dad was shot 6 times! does that seem excessive? Aren't the police there to protect not to kill? the whole situation was handled wrong but in the end my dads life was taken and it was ruled as justified! nothing will bring him back and that is what hurts the most! Let me tell you this never take your parents for granted!! because when you lose both of them, you will realze how hard life can be without their support!

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
