DEMOCRATS AND GUN VIOLENCE GO HAND IN HAND

Why is it that those who steal guns, who then go and kill movie goers and children in school have never been a conservative NRA member?

Ft Hood -Registered Democrat – Muslim

Columbine -Too young to vote; both families were registered Democrats and progressive liberals

Virginia Tech -Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff – Registered Democrat

Colorado Theater -Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal

Connecticut School Shooter -Registered Democrat; hated Christians

Common thread is that all of these shooters were progressive liberal Democrats. INTERESTING…,isn’t it?

Two Words: Prove it.

You post a link to crap that came froman email that came from a right wing news host who has not provided a single shred of evidence. See link.

http://www.examiner.com/article/the-idea-that...

Secondly what if this article where true...what is your point. That republican NRA members are completely devoid of any "bad people" and always use their weapons responsibility? That only liberals are crazy? What about Tim McVeigh a registered Republican and member of the NRA...that my friend is Fact Checked.

Horsepucky!!!!!!

The only common thread was/is they were mentally ill!

That is were the current regime and all disciples of obama are missing the point!

The psychological truth is that every gun privately and legally owned in America is a tiny impediment to the citizenry assuming a docile, nearly delusional perspective that the world will always be predictable, that one's home and loved ones will always be safe and that government will always tend toward light and never toward darkness.

Isn't Chicago the perfect city ,with all guns banned? They have to have zero crime there now with all those gun laws right? All Liberals are invited to Chicago and take walking tours of the utopia your party has created.
Every gun owner should stop paying taxes to the state and federal government until they stop trying to take away our 2nd amendment rights. Now that would send a message. Liberals are not dumb just stupid and brainless.
Gun Owners Refuse to Register Under New York Law
GUN CONTROL IS NOT ABOUT GUNS IT IS ABOUT CONTROL
Liberal wannabee dictators will take your soul if you let them, please don't let them.

L2Read. "Liberals are not dumb just stupid and brainless." Taken from above. Thus the reason why i pointed out it is a Fact that Democratic states have Higher I.Q. averages than Republican....Then again you probably didnt/couldnt read what i was replying to. You are from a red state so i understand your short comings.

Elected Officials Are Fundamentally Dishonest

To the Editor:

This letter was forwarded to Barack Obama, John Boehner, Chris Murphy, Dick
Blumenthal, Elizabeth Esty, and Harry Reid:

I live in Sandy Hook, CT. My family and close friends weren't harmed on
December 14. That day impacted 26 families with an indescribable, staggering
pain and anguish. For most of Sandy Hook, it merely affected us with an
inescapable intensity of sadness and grief.
Gun control has long been a focus of many in this country.

Though I'm not knowledgeable of all the nuances of the Second Amendment,
based on the Founding Fathers' circumstances, it had far more to do with
enabling the citizenry to protect themselves against tyrannical government
than against local psychopaths. It is about providing a balanced firepower
so when King George's successor came knocking on your door, you could fight
back. Government today is no less inclined to abuse its authority than it
was then. Based on the absurd and ongoing power grab that is present day
Washington, it's as threatening as ever.

That so many of you view the NRA with its resistance to further restrictions
on firearms as intransigent lunatics has far more to do with how you conduct
yourselves in office than it does with the NRA's actions.

You in public office are fundamentally dishonest people. You lead lives of
deception at every turn, structuring your lives as comfortably as you can
while governing with an indifference and arrogance that is absolutely
maddening. When the country is reeling from financial disaster, you waste a
trillion dollars on a health care bill we can't afford and you've never
read. You claim it's critical because health care costs are killing this
country... no they're not, you are! You are killing this country. You
endorse the ongoing slaughter of millions of unborn children and whine when
terrorists are water boarded.

You can't lecture us right in Newtown High School about not doing enough to
keep our children safe, while simultaneously slaughtering the unborn. You
fabricate the intense, media laden drama of the fiscal cliff and lack the
courage to do anything about truly reforming the obscene gluttony of
government. You know you'll be out of office before the bill comes due… you
don't care and have no integrity nor honor.

You lie whenever and wherever you need to to move forth your agenda. Were
you able, you would purge the US of guns… every last gun in the country, if
you could. So please forgive Wayne LaPierre and those of us who don't trust
you as far as we can spit. You're a dishonest lot, motivated by a distorted
worldview. If mass murder prevention were truly your goal, you would welcome
armed security wherever needed. It is outrageous that we protect our money
with far more firepower than we protect our children.

I have never owned a gun, nor wanted to as intensely as right now. You'll
stop restricting guns when only you have them.

So an ar-15 would protect you from the us military? If you believe that you need to seek mental treatment. Our military rules the world by land, sea, and air. If they wanted to kill you they would probably drone strike you with a missile and nothing would be left of your little assault rifle. So no having guns no longer protects us from our gov.

I think we all fully understand what the letter said.

Gun control isn't the answer to the mass shooting issue.

It is the same argument we have been hearing. That the answer to these shootings is more guns. More guns equal more safety. It is the same argument that has plagued mankind for generations and apparently we aren't going to learn. There is no nuclear deterrent, you give everyone a handgun, people start carrying shotguns. You give everyone an AR-15 someone's going to get a full-auto M-16. Where does it stop? Where is the balance?

It is not, just as simple as more guns, more security. It is not as simple as preventing mentally disturbed people from having access to guns. If people want a gun to go kill people then they will go get a gun, that is something that everyone can agree with...but less semi-auto weapons means that these people aren't going to get them as easy. That is the point...to make it more difficult...then you keep some of these guns out of the hands of the people who would do harm.

Does this mean good honest gun owners may have to deal with a longer wait to purchase a weapon. Yes. Does it mean responsible gun owners will have to loose the ability to purchase an assault weapon if they want one. Yes.

However, the question is still out there...nobody can give an answer to it: What does any normal citizen need with a military assault style weapon beyond the hypothetical...what purpose, that a pistol, shotgun, or rifle wouldn't be able to do?

When the benefits outweigh the risks then your choice becomes clear.

Forget about what some stupid politician or pundnt says and ask yourself...What would you do if it was your brother, sister, cousin, son, daughter whoever who went off...took your gun, or their own gun and murdered a hundred people? Do you honestly think you would be debating this issue with crappy excuses about what might have been or what could happen?

Why can we not have security in every school for every child and not just the prez kids?

Why don't they stop the violence on tv, movies and video games which all studies conducted for decades now show and prove it affects people's mind's?

Why are not the metally ill people addressed as they were in years past and now just given more meds and turned out into society to do the best they can, but it is not there fault they are mental or crazy but the government teachers teach them it is ok to be what you want to be no matter if you kill people in doing so?

You libs have no idea about the answers to these questions because you only see and here yopur agenda at all cost and it is costly as hell is to fire.

Nut,

You said the following:

“However, the question is still out there...nobody can give an answer to it: What does any normal citizen need with a military assault style weapon beyond the hypothetical...what purpose, that a pistol, shotgun, or rifle wouldn't be able to do?”

I can answer correctly, what seems to be a very hard question to you, with ease. The answer is mathematics.

For example, four [4] intruders show up at your house. If each intruder has a pistol in hand, that would be a minimum of twenty-four [24] rounds you [the home owner] would be up against. A simple pistol, shotgun, or rifle would not be enough fire-power for the situation. On the other hand, if you [the home owner] owned a fire arm that held a clip of 24 [or more] rounds, you [the home owner] would at least be equal to the intruders, even potentially have an advantage. When it is life or death, I, personally, want ALL the advantages I can get.

Mathematics, this is how simple it is to answer the question you posed that “nobody can answer.”

Mathematics must not be a strong suit...because how many directions does this gun of yours shoot? If four armed assailants are storming your home the number of rounds either group has is irrelevant...even with a high capacity magazine they could easily out flank you because there are four of them or even just two. Besides...it doesn't matter if it was only one...if you are sitting on the couch watching TV with your family...when he comes through the door and you are unprepared how do you defend yourself then?

Your entire scenario is based on a big fucking what if not facts. If somebody wanted you dead they sure as shit aren't going to charge the gates...and if it is just for a robbery...they are going to turn tail and run after the first shot. Only someone desperate or deranged would risk such a thing like a 4 man armed assault...real life ain't a Sly Stallone movie.

What if the military is on our side. Maybe the ones who would destroy the Constitution are the ones who need to worry, those FEMA camps may come in handy after all, lol.

The Constitution will be defended.

Welcome to Oath Keepers

"Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution"

"Our motto is "Not on our watch!"

"Green Berets Sign Letter Supporting 2nd Amendment"

"In a recent op-ed piece in the San Francisco Chronicle, Brett Joshpe stated that “Gun advocates will be hard-pressed to explain why the average American citizen needs an assault weapon with a high-capacity magazine other than for recreational purposes.” We agree with Kevin D. Williamson (National Review Online, December 28, 2012):“The problem with this argument is that there is no legitimate exception to the Second Amendment right that excludes military-style weapons, because military-style weapons are precisely what the Second Amendment guarantees our right to keep and bear.”"

Oh I will 100% agree with that. Your not going to stop a deranged psycho from doing something...

but it shouldn't be as easy as walking into your neighborhood Wal-Mart and plopping down the cash, walking out with the gun..ammo..and jiffy pop...to drive straight to the school and open fire either.

It shouldn't be as easy as asking your cousin to go to a gun show and pick you up a couple of AR-15's when your a convicted felon to use to protect your illegal activities...but it happens.

If you stop one guy...just one from buying or getting his hands on a semiautomatic assault rifle and he has to resort to using a hammer...or chainsaw...you have reduced the number of people that can be targeted and increased the number of people who can survive...which is exactly the point of the current legislation.
