If he needs to treat them like adults and not like they are two, why was there a food fight this week?

You are a complete idiot. First you need to go back to school with your son and learn to spell basic words. They aren't usually spelled like they sound. And when they start to act like adults maybe they will be treated like adults. If they act like 2 year olds (which mostly they do) then they deserve to be treated like 2 year olds. And NO the cafeteria staff aren't going to put laxatives in the food to get even with anyone. The ones who started the food fight aren't there. And putting laxatives in food is illegal.

And if you think that causing over $2000 worth of damage is just a joke then it shows how big of an idiot you are. I am guessing you are the parent of one of the trash thugs that was arrested. It's no wonder our country is going to hell. You are one of the idiots who thinks your child is an Angel and nothing they do is wrong. One of the ones who "think" they are entitled to everything. Your kids first adult act will be to go to DHS and sign up for their own welfare card. Good going.

Here is a news flash for you. There are now more people riding in the cart that pulling and FYI the ones pulling are tired of supporting you dead beat trash people who refuse to work. Eventually the welfare money will run out. I guess you will starve to death when it does.

First of all, it is principal, not principle. However, considering the fact that you can't even write a complete sentence it doesn't surprise me that you don't know the difference.

Secondly, how about you going in to a school and putting in some volunteer hours?? If you did, you would see firsthand why PRINCIPALS have to be strict and maintain order in the school. When students feel that they can get away with something, they will attempt it!! Be thankful that there is someone in charge there that is actually trying to put education first!

I seriously doubt that they cafeteria workers are sitting around plotting how to get back at the kids who started the food fight and considering that everyone in Cocke County knows that they were given OSS and ISS, then it would be fairly easy to just contaminate the foods of those students and those students only.

There are consequences for crimes. The boys who started to food fight didn't actually think that their "senior prank" would go without consequences, did they? If there were smart, they would have found out the consequences of such actions before partaking in them.

Quit whining and do something productive with your time, like starting a support group for young adults whose senior pranks went all wrong. ;-)

If your not a student then you should be, with your spelling and sentence structure. Willing to bet your just a kid trying to sound like an adult!! They get treated by how they act! From what I have seen I big bunch of them have alot of growing up to do before they hit the real world or this place is going to have more major problems than we already have.

My child goes to CCHS. She thinks Dr. Stewart is great. He enforces rules and enforces consequences. The perception I get from your post is that you are one of those people who want to be buddies with your child as opposed to actually being their parent first. My personal opinion is that rules are in place for a reason. If my child breaks one of those rules, she deserves the consequences at school and will most certainly recieve even more at home. She and I have a great relationship, but I have always put being her parent before being her friend. It is your job as a parent to teach your child many things, and that includes respect for ruled and authority. Education is extremely important to our childrens futures. Obviously, it isn't a priority to you as it appears you have none. The teachers have a very important job to do. It makes it even harder when parents aren't parents at home and the teachers end up being both to these students. You are only showing your child how to act like an idiot by your post. Try being thankful that your child is required to recieve an education, help out with that at home by teaching your child how to act in public and to have respect for their teachers, cafeteria staff, and the principals rules. If you have a problem with these rules, go to a school board meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. You can use that meeting to educated yourself on just how hard ridiculous parents make teachers jobs. Be thankful we have a principal who cares about our childrens education and their well being at school. Instead of concerning yourself with a packet of ketchup being removed, pack your kids lunch. Be thankful this principal is trying to decrease any type of violence in the school. Be thankful he is trying to get rid of the drugs that my daughter sees being sold/bought in class or on campus, the pills being crushed and snorted, the pot smoked near the football field. If you are actually concerned as a parent, worry about these things instead of condiments being removed. Many people died fighting for our freedom so all would be entitled to education, my tax dollars go to feed half of these kids, and I'm not sure that it says anywhere that the have the right to ketchup! The cafeteria staff certainly have more class and more maturity than to contaminate any food with a laxative. Can't believe any adult with even a shred of common sense would believe that one. If your concerned, fine. Be concerned with more important issues than ketchup. All the parents will not show up there unless it is to commend the principal for trying to make CCHS a safe school to go to. Very thankful you aren't having to concern yourself with someone coming in with a gun or a bomb and killing our children at school. And, go buy your kid a stinking bottle of ketchup for them to take with them if its so darn important. Please, I beg that you get yourself something more constructive to concern yourself with. Maybe try some on line classes in reading and spelling. Then some parenting classes.

I bet you losers never had to clean up after a food fight or you wouldn't be laughing. I bet these 18 yr old adults wouldn't have thrown food in the kitchen at their own house. I feel for the poor ladies that had to clean that mess up. So you are saying that people that don't throw food all over are losers?

With the way most of the parents of these kids have raised and taught them how to act, it has to become like a correctional facility. Parents don't teach their kids any respect for authority and rules. Most of the parents of these kids that are having issues with the way problems are being dealt with have been in some type of trouble, alcoholics, and pill heads themselves. Teach your children right, discipline them at home, stand up for their teachers when your kid does wrong, and that will eliminate a lot of the problems. Know what your child is doing. Keep the pills and drugs out of your home
Make children follow rules at home, and allow discipline in schools and mist of these issues will go away. Most of the drug problems come from mommy and daddys stash. These kids have learned by the example of their parents that the government will pay their bills, give em cards for food, and let em live for free. So, they don't care about the rules at school because they don't care about their education. It all begins at home must friends. All begins at home.

Whoa whoa.. apparently you don't go to our school, because even the kids that go to our school and do as we are told are suffering because of Stewart.. everytime one of my stupid fellow students decides to do something they think is cool and hilarious, all of us who go to school and do what we are supposed to are to suffer along with the idiots.. its not right and I don't agree with you. Not only is it the troublemakers that strongly disagree with what Stewart and the way he runs our school, but the real students as well..

He is probably running it like it should have been run long time ago, you should have been there when Mr. Bray ran it, he was tough and should have been even though there was trouble as all schools are gonna have. Kids good or bad get by with to much stuff these days, they can't separate the good from the bad and then say ok you good ones can do this and the bad ones can't. So can blame the bad kids for all suffering!!!

I do make my hikdren mind, teach them to respect, and right from wrong. However I have seen teachers and a principle do wrong at school. So please don't always assume what they do is what's right.
