I think the main thing here is to remember that one young man was seriously injured and one was murdered. It doesn't matter WHAT these boys did or didn't do, what matters IS the fact that someone purposely did this to them. Who really cares if so-and-so deals or doesn't deal or what? There are drugs everywhere, and just about everyone knows someone who deals them. Does that make it right?
Not necessarily, but does it make it RIGHT for someone to purposely go into someone else's home and injure them, leaving them for dead and killing someone else in that home? If it happened to you, what would you do? My prayers go out to these boys AND their families. I only hope justice is served and someone pays the price for what they have done.
I think there has been enough suffering from the incident itself, so why would anyone want to cause further suffering for anyone by spreading rumors or malicious thoughts or "could have been's?" I don't get it. Murder+attempted murder=CRIME. Whomever is guilty of such crime SHOULD suffer the consequences. The deceased boy doesn't get a chance to change anything in this, the injured boy has a chance at being able to start life anew, BUT the emotional conflicts created by such an incident will forever scar the person who witnessed this malicious attack.
Why can't everyone just do the right thing and keep the victims in their thoughts and prayers and hope for the best? If you are throwing stones, you must first make sure your hands and heart are completely free of any wrong doings. Who hasn't made a mistake? Who hasn't learned a lesson the hard way? Were you there? Did you see and KNOW for a fact any of the evidence surrounding this case?
I'd say not, so therefore, friend of foe of anyone involved should just make sure your heart is in the right place before making critical statements that are read by friends and family of the victims.
Just my 2 cents worth. Have a good day.
Suzey
Most of what you say it totally correct. The only thing I would disagree on is the "victim". There are no victims in a drug related murder! The victims are not the persons killed or the murderer. The victims are the children involved. Children and family members who do not do drugs!

buddy you are a dumbass. everything you post is overly dramatic. you act like you are around these situations all the time because you seem to know how it all goes down, but i doubt it. i know for a fact josh never took, snorted, shot up, or administerd a pill in any way, shape, or form. it doesnt matter whether he was involved with them or not, anyone that is too lazy to work to support thier habit and has to rob/kill to get their fix is a slob pillhead or not. noone deserves to die or be harmed just because they have something a lazy slob bum wants but wont work for. if all the drug addicts were forced to get a job somehow, they might start cherrishing money over drugs even if the money is to get drugs. anyway, irresponsible ignorant slobs are to blame for this ridiculous act... not the acts of the victims regardless of opinions. anyone can decide whether a life is worth a fix but it takes a sorry man to take another mans life for thier own pleasure.

Untill there is a law passed that pain clinics have to be shut down and doctors have to quit giving prescriptions there is not much that can be done. You need to call you reps and talk with them. Local law enforcement can only try to stop some of it and as I have noticed the sheriff department has busted several drug heads and the DA office let's them back out due to over crowding of the jail. The city has had a couple but as usual there right back out on the street. The county commission as I have read in the paper which some of them are only concerned about an ambulance service and are considering raising taxes. I'm fine with raising taxes but it needs to be for the citizens welfare. I think that the sheriff department needs more officers on thR department. There is only 22 officers and they have 45,000 people and 455 square miles to cover. Every county I've went to has between 6 to 8 officers and we have between 3 to 5 working and they are a lot busier than other surrounding counties. You want to raise taxes for a out of county ambulance service but don't want to help the people that have worked in this county for years. That doesn't make any since.

i didnt say he didnt sell them and im aware that he did. I just said he didnt do them. He aint a dope head he just likes money like everyone else. Hell he aint a thief or a bad guy at all. Just because he sold dope doesnt mean he deserved to get shot in his own home. Hes also a good dad that his kid needs.

Ppl sure do talk a lot of shit. First of all it shouldn't matter what you have in your home IT IS YOUR HOME noone has the right to come in and try to take something just because they are junked out and sic. Get a job and pay for your habit if you have one, its not just ppl selling drugs that are being robbed and murdered. Innocent elderly ppl that get medication are being robbed in their homes, babies are dying, mothers are losing their sons and grandsons and for what because ppl like the ones who robbed, beat, and murdered our friends can't get money and support a habit they started the right way. Think about all that is involved all the lives that are changed and all the ppl hurt because someone wanted to take something that wasn't thiers. And they didn't even have anything for them to steal so they tortured innocent ppl for what????

Didn't say he deserved to be shot at or broke into, but if your gonna play your gonna pay!!! Sure hope this has opened his eyes and gets as far away from drugs as he can. <quoted text>
Very well put...I am the mother of the injured and I cry everyday and thank the lord he spared my son..but the other mother wasn't so lucky. My son is a very good hearted young man and would do anything for anyone...I will make sure justice is served and the ones saying the horrible things about him can go to hell...Karma will come back to those and I just hope I am around to see it. He didn't ask for them to come in and rob him and shoot him or his friend...I will not stop until the ones that hurt my son go to prison. Yes he made some bad choices but like Suzey said...he does have a chance to start a new life and make right choices. When I read the aweful things said about him and hear the horrible stories surrounding this crime it breaks my heart. Hope none of you have to ever deal with being afraid to lay down in your bed at night because someone is out to kill you so you cannot testify or identify the shooters...
Your son is a piece of shit that got what he deserved. He'd sell a rock to a 5 yr old. So noone should feel sorry for him. He got "robbed"... of his DRUGS that he was both using and selling. He won't change. I promise you that. He's probably loving the hospital. Getting all that free dope. When he gets out he will be doing the same thing. The only justice he deserves is a shotgun blast through his kneecap so he remembers what a piece of shit he is with every step he takes. I understand you are his mother and you will feel sorry for him but he doesn't even deserve that.
How would you feel if some piece of shit sold your child crack, pills, whatever and they died because of it? Because before you preach justice and murder just know your son is a murderer in my book. & to the family of the dead guy. He wasn't innocent either. There is no reason to be at a drug dealer/ user's house at 2 in the morning unless you are getting/ doing drugs.

Decriminalize all drugs. Let the junkies thin themselves out. At least then we can tax the drugs and make money while they kill themselves.

look i dont wish death on anyone, but if he sells pills i cannot feel sorry for him, matter of fact f*ck him, if youre not a part of the solutionm youre a part of the problem. He contributed to the problem that lead to his buddy getting shot, RILEY getting burned alive, and countless others overdosing and wasting their lives, hes lucky enough to get a 2nd chance, hope he doesthe right thing,

No they use their heads. They know right from wrong and arent stupid. They were raised with morals and continue to raise their children with morals as well. They have never smoked, drank or done any form of drugs at all. They all three have college degrees, their own homes and know the word respect!

My brother-in-law was 40yrs old and never touched alcohol or any type of drug. Well he had an accident and had his leg shredded below his knee. Of course he needed pain meds. Well just a year after his accident, they wanted him to go to rehab. He said he'd kill himself if they made him go. Thats been 4 yrs ago and hes still taking them. He didnt "choose" to take them but now all he does is sit in his chair and just pass out in the middle of a conversation. Hes no different from any other pillhead now. My point is, NEVER say it WONT happen bc you never know whats going to happen!
