If you're going to post, and use names of people, or businesses, get your facts straight, or lawyers will do it for you. "Jimmy" is not the ambulance driver you moron. The guy that jumped in wearing a silk green dress shirt and black slacks, all be it the same color as the ambulance crew, is not and never has been an employee and I pretty sure they don't wear silk dress shirts. If you watch the video more closely, you'll see that when the door opens, one person with ambulance gets out and never approaches the man, and the other guy you keep calling "Jimmy" comes from somewhere to left but video does not show where, but he is not with EMS and was not on their truck. The ambulance probably was there cause of the accident E-911 sends them out for accidents. The ambulance guy gets back in the truck and it leaves WITHOUT the guy in green shirt that got kicked. So either they got magic trucks or HE WASNT THE AMBULANCE DRIVER!!! So apologize again, because that guy is not with the ambulance at all, so quit calling him the ambulance driver, moron.

I am totally with you there! That "smoking should be illegal" comment pissed me off! My opinion is that if I wanna sit in my own car and smoke a cigarette (killing myself), that's my f*cking right! Last time a checked this is America....and its mine or anyone elses freedom to light up a cig in or on our own property! If you hate smokers that much...stay the f*ck away from them! Maybe it should be illegal, for the moron who made that statement, to breathe!

About 20 yrs ago I recall a big fat bellied cop in this town that jerked this little guy around a little too much, then one night at the Smoky mountain Club, the little fellow walked in, there sat the fatbellied cop swellin down him some beer, the little guy stepped back out to his car, returned with 2- 9mm pistols , one in each hand, He blew the cops brains all over the bar... in the long run it does not pay to jerk folks around. no matter who ya are.
It was more like 30 years ago. The policeman was Harold Metford (who liked to carry a chain to hit suspects with) and the shooter was "Butch" Williams who was tired of being picked on. My heart at the time was with what Butch did because Harold was a a##hole, but it left 2 children without a father.

if law enforcement was allowed to deal out a little more schooling like this, unlawful people would be less likely to carry on the way they do!
if you value your life, the lives of your children and grand children, and last but not least your property, you will support the oficers that show thugs how they need to be treated for breaking the law. in recent months i have had property stolen vehicles broken into and prowled through and would really love the police to find who did it and kick the sh!+ out of them or bring them to me and turn their head while i do it. next time you see a cop fighting a suspect stop and help them. they may have just killed a memeber of your family
Yes if they were dealing with pillhead zombies, not a accident victim who they already had been advised was injured and had 2 artificial hips. If this was my family I wouldn't stop until this video was on NIGHTLINE,DATELINE, 60 MINUTES, and ANDERSON COOPER. I would publicily embarrass these over zealous, idiots every chance I got.Sorry, I just lost all respect for Brad, and for the rest of you who defend him, just because he is your relative, friend, co-worker, or church member does not make what he did okay. I would sue Brad personally too, he has a nice house that I would OWN. Dude you only gotta like a year before your time is up, and don't get a lwayer from the port.

This is the kind of think Jimmy Dunn sits back and laughs about. Jimmy Dunn is not for citizens. If he had any morals about him he would file charges on that cop!! It is long past due for a change in the District Attorneys Office.

No sound? that video sucked. I saw no kicking either.

Your cousin shouldn't of been smoking while talking to the officer anyways. They don't want someone blowing that sh*t in their face while they are trying to do their job.

How is that an excuse for their behavior? Why do they even care if an innocent civilian smokes, because when they arrest a effing real criminal the cops put cigs in the inmates mouth&light them because they can't w the hancuffs. I guess they think they deserve one last cigarette before they go to jail, but this poor man can't do something that's completely legal&his right to do. If I was the guy I would've put my cig out alright...right on their smug faces.

Police don't give a criminal a cigarette to smoke unless they cooperate (this guy was not cooperative), and its outside of their car, not in small area where the smoke only has one way to vent itself which also happens to be where the cop was standing.

Guy could of re-lite his cig after he was finished talking to the officer, but he wanted to be stubborn, so he went to jail =)

I knew Travis all through school and he was never in this position. He has never backed down from anyone and I'm sure he wouldn't you either if you didn't hide behind your keyboard. I haven't saw him in years but don't think he would quit a 50k/yr job. Seems sometimes people are so jealous they lie on others just to make themselves feel better. Wow Newport hasn't changed a bit glad I moved away from this.

Go back and reread your post?? You actually said he wanted to be stubborn over a f'n cigarette so he went to jail. Jimminy f'n cricket, this is what our tax dollars are paying for?? To whoop an old man with 2 hip replacements who mind you WAS the victim here. That makes me feel so much better that this old man and his cigarettes(which are legal) are off the streets, yet every pill dealing, pill taking, meth making theiving piece of shit in this town is able to run free. Yes your arguement makes so much sense to me now. I wonder how many mobile meth labs road by while they were whopping the old man. PUNITIVE DAMAGES!!

wouldn,t back down? so the cops take on citizens in an invitational street fight? i doubt that there is acop in the land that would back yard brawl with anyone without the comfort and security of a sidearm, weapon, or backup. just my opinion but most cops impress me as having a yellow stripe down their backsnot much different than a legalized gang of thugs. most not all

You don't get it, the old man wanted help, but when asked to put out his cig, he refused. That is just rude, I would of whooped his ass too

btw, there is no sound so all we have to go by is the OP who could be trying to stir up drama with false accusations. For all we know, the old man is some drunk, who wouldn't get out of the car to take a sobriety test.
